I can definitely relate Hello! I am a fellow blogger but I am studying in Sweden at the moment. Just wanted to say I can REALLY relate to your points about enjoying the moment. I worked incredibly hard to get myself into the exchange program here and I am just amazed by every experience I've had since arriving- at the risk of sounding cheesy it's all kind of magical really. I just can't believe how lucky I am to have this opportunity and I refuse to waste an ounce of it!
Best Wishes Your write up was grand and so reflective. The very best to you on your journey and studies. I look forward to reading your blog over the next year..years.
Ann from Des Moines
Good luck!
Clarissa, wishing you the best of the best this year in Ireland. My daughter Erin spent a summer in Dublin and had some good, as well as not-so-good experiences. But she spent her summer making pizzas, not going to school! Your new degree sounds like a winner for you. I can't wait to see where you are in 10 years! So keep your blog coming... and I will do my best to keep up with you! Mrs.J
Nice to hear about your travels Wow! what a nice treat to hear what you are doing. I will watch for more to come as you go to Ireland.
What a wonderful opportunity! Love and prayers for your safety and good health.
Good Job Got the link today... and I wondered... how is she liking DC. Glad you enjoyed your time there (and I'm sure you will be back someday) and your post about missing Colby, KS and not keeping up w/ the blog.
This year on our Europe trip (c/hagen, hamburg, heidelburg, rothenburg, geneva, paris, normandy, dublin, london) was as exciting but w/ FB... did not blog about my trip. Keeping up w/ FB was more than I could do.
So TCD, nice. We had a briefing there in March and really nice school. Good for you and the best w/ Grad school
Ann

Ireland! Hey!! I'm obsessed with Ireland too! I have all 26 counties in the republic memorized haha! that's a little extreme I know...I'm known as the "tall Irish girl" at my high school. :P I stayed in Co. Tipperary when I visited on a vacation last year. Gotta love the countryside. :D
I did not "One of the people in my office gave me a hard time for being so tuned into the hearing, but I was so proud of these two Kansans who were so dedicated to public service."
I did not, but I do miss (teasing) you.
Venice Is Beautiful Clarissa, agree that Venice is beautiful and 1-2 days is enough.
I had a great time in Venice and you can read about it here.
Great job on your blogs and your work at the US Mission.

Mutefish I saw mutefish at the Galway Music Festiva. Some of the best street music I have ever heard. I also picked up their CD. Glad I did, because I haven't a clue how I might be able to get another one.
Nice Entry Read your blog on our trip to Dublin. We went there a couple of years ago. You got a lot of sights in a very short time.
Hope to meet you in Brussels.
Hi I've been reading your blogs and great that you are enjoying your time in Brussels. We will be leaving from Des Moines in 17 days for London. Will be in Brussels March 15.
See our website re: our travels: www.drakesmart.com
Have a great time in Dublin.
I love it!! I'm so jealous you got to spend Valentines Day in Amsterdam!! Your trip sounds so amazing!
So we're the ladies in the Red Light District decked out in V-day gear (V for Valentines, not venereal)? That would be hilarious, red hearts in the window?
I'm so glad to see that you're enjoying your trip, the pictures are quite telling!
Nice Job on the Blog I've been reading your blog. I'm the person from Des Moines who is traveling to Europe (London to Nice) next month.
You did a great job on explaining the EU and their function.
Thanks much and enjoy Paris. Be careful!
