I feel sick.... after kana and I received the care package from Maxer (pic: two over 26 yr olds sitting on the floor in the office, ripping open a box and screaming at everything we see).....with lots of missed stuffed from Aus packed in it (AND 1KG of Strawberries and Cream!!)....that day I had cherry ripe with lunch, timtam after dinner, and today have had strawberries and cream for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert - I really feel sick now... crumps this would kill our racing car effort.... Well yesterday I cracked under the pressure and decided to enter the Niseko trail run that my company puts on every year. I thought it really could not be that bad, its only 10k, and the trail runs through the snow mountains, most of which has totally melted by now. The extra addition was that if I did enter the trail run it meant that in stead of starting work at 12:00 I got the day off and could rock in at 4:00 - decision done. My body feels like it has seriously just pulled itself out of the wars... Last week after a hanami (cherry blossom bbq) and a few beers the boys pulled out their skateboards and long boards from the van. For some strange reason, my body and brain woke up at 7:30 am, was going to go back to sleep but for an even stranger reason (I still don't know what that would be) I got out of bed grabbed my bike and went for a mountain bike. Went to shiribetsu river and locked the bike up and decided to go for a trail run along the river. Well, managed to actually get up at 4:00 am this morning and get myself up to NAC and prepare my dry suit and rafting stuff for the trip. Mori picked me up at 5:00 am and we set off for Mukuwa River - 4 hrs away. The drive was beautiful, what had been covered in a white blanket of snow had melted and the only thing you could see was green, green and more green. Otaru Rock Climbing Well, today it was my day off so I decided to join Kanomor and head out to Otaru for a rock climbing tour. It was the most beautiful day, blue skies and beaming sun. Kei came out to film and we picked up two customers from Otaru station. We arrived at the spot which was beautiful, the back drop was blue seas and we had to bush beat it through this forest that must be a secret breeding spot for poison ivy as it was EVERYWHERE!!! Well today Hide, Fujio and I set out to hit the peak. We were meant to have a 8:00 start, meeting at the chalet, but seen as though Hide woke me up at 8:30 asking where I was, we sort of ended up running a bit behind schedule....
