Awesome Happy Belated Birthdays to both of you! I bet they will be one unforgettable BD. 4 degrees outside today with 6 inches of snow. Bet you can hardly wait to return..by the way, are you guys ever coming back?
Back to form Glad to hear about fun non-human friends (rooster, ants, dogs) and I was getting concerned that I hadn't heard about Claire sweating. Thank god for that volcano.
nice very nice you two...appreciate the breaks from work to soak in your adventures. these pictures definately told a good story of what looks to be an amazing trip!
amazing pics wow guys, those pics were an amazing recreation of your journeys! The volcano pics were intense and something you'd see on postcards. same with the pics of those sweet infinity pools and waterfalls. Seems like an incredible central american adventure so far- good job recapturing it all.
Weather presenter Just to enhance your day you can see PETROULA (the weather presenter) on www.metacafe.com/watch/2346577/petroula_kostidous_photoshoot_for/
Yes she is for real here in Greece
final thoughts What is a work camp? And I'm sure you guys are dead tired and worn out, but are you gonna send a wrap-up blog about the whole european travel experience. highlights/lowlights? best places to go and worst, etc. I'd love to know how the whole thing went in hindsight, if you guys have formed any new philosophies on the world or mindsets towards life. Maybe nothing too earthshattering, but it'd still be cool to hear about the whole trip in retrospect.
welcome back to america
I love the picture of you two on the bus, and the weather lady. REALLY? That was the weather lady? Not a spoof on the weather, but the real weather? Amazing.

That does it...I really want to go to France. I love vineyards, and wineries, and for that matter wine in general. This looked like my kind of trip for sure. You are really experiencing all that Europe has to offer! I just love you BLOG. Keep it coming. It is the next best thing to being there, and I just love seeing both of your smiling faces! - Leslie
Howdy, this is Ryan and Claire's travel blog. We are heading to Europe first and fly into Madrid on 8/17/09. After two months of whatever that entails, we'll be heading to Central America (after a quick nod to a lanky fellow in Miami) and arrive in Guatemala on 10/17/09. After one month of busing down Central America, we'll be flying into Colombia and after another month, we should be flying home from Argentina around 12/20/09. If you've been counting (or just noted the start and end dates), that's 4 months abroad, in the middle of Claire's young career and before Ryan has even started his... full info
