Hey everyone, I'm rounding off my days here and preparing myself mentally to leave. I already know that it's gonna break my heart to leave here, it nearly did the other day when I had to say goodbye to my kids. I had to finish up the units I was teaching to the other classes (I sort of went aroudn the school and did some lessons with the upper-classes) and they were all sad to hear that it was my last day. All day long kids form other classes stopped me in the hallways and said goodbye or told me they'd [View Full Entry]

It's only about a ten-minute walk from here and its a pretty ncie walk. I'm very lucky because all of the other girls have to take the bus or a train or in some cases both to get to their school placements. Ireland does not separate church and state, so most of the schools in Ireland are either Catholic or Protestant, with a few smatterings of Jewish, Islam, nondemonational, etc. The [View Full Entry]

First blog - Ireland Well, this is the third time I've tried to start this blog and each time I've been interrupted. Anyway, I'lll try to finish it this time. I'm here! in Ireland! It's beautiful! (of course) But it does rain. A LOT. Even when you look outside and its sunny, there's probably a 50/50 chance that its raining. And when its sunny and you are walking along, the weather will defy the laws of weather and it'll rain even though the nearest clouds are close to the horizon. It is also pretty cold and windy, though I'm used to [View Full Entry]
