We're home! Thanks for your birthday greeting! I received it while we were in Iquique Chile-- what an amazing place!! long story! We arrived home today (mon., 11/20) and have to return to work (remember what that word is?? you know -- trabajo???) tomorrow. I really enjoy your pictures and stories -- and wonder if we will ever see you living in the US ever again??!!!! Miss you!! Love you lots! Linda (PS - Jim is VERY CUTE!)
Wow It's so neat to imagine what Palenque looked like when it was actually inhabited by it's people - so cool. And ohhhhhh my goodness, that waterfall pic is GORGEOUS!
Cool Sounds very cool and now I know what that Jack Black movie is supposed to be about! Everytime I would see a commercial for it, I would think to my self "what the heck!" and "why". LOL
Hey girl Just wanted to say hi and tell you I'm still enjoying reading about your travels. The celebration of those passes sounds like a nice event - wish we had that here. :)
Take care
I live vicariously through You! Sue, So glad you are having such a good time and getting to see so many interesting places and things. You are a lucky lady! Hope you feel better soon. And hope to see you soon!
beautiful Suze Hey Suze,
Beautiful, colorful. I was telling my dad about your travels yesterday, and it inspired him to put some energy into a dream he's had for decades: to bike across country. We were sitting at breakfast mapping and planning, and devising a plan to get my step mom on board! good stuff. keep on truckin,
love,
m

She is talking up a storm. She thinks she is a teenager all ready (yes she is only 2!) This Halloween should be a ton of fun with her. We can't wait to see you. we are glad to hear from you!! sounds beautiful and relaxing. hope you are feeling better real soon! wish you were going to be back by nov. 13 so you could be nicky's show-n-tell! he has to do a report on mayan life (geography, ruins, govt., education, etc.) and make a project of a typical mayan dwelling, and it would be cool to take you in to tell of your adventures! i already printed out the picture of you standing in front of the tikal ruin for him to show his teacher. well, enjoy the beach and swimming (it's cold here)!! love and hugs from all of us!!!
MEXICO Hi Sue... you sure get around. How long were you in PA before heading to Mexico? How long in Mexico?

World Full of Wonders "World of Wonders" well stated. Life is full of rewarding experiences and memories. My travels through Nicaragua took me from the heights of volcano and markets of Masaya, to the cobblestone streets of Granada, to the historic battle scars of Leon, to the sugar cane fields of Chichigalpa, and finally to the coffee plantations in Mataglapa. As a gringo in Nicaragua everyone called me "Chele'". The wonders of the world is also the many friendships with the people you make along the way. Paul, Miami
