WOWWWWWWW Holy Toledo Sue - What an amazing journey you have been on. I give you soooooooooooooooo much credit - there's no way I could ever do it. I can't image what a spectacular feeling you must have experienced when the villagers joined your yoga session - It's definitely a feeling that is unique to the situation and will never happen again. Amazing. And ohhhhhhhh my god - the thought of you guys noticing the peering eyes of crocs while traveling through the logoon and possibly capsizing - I would have been TERRIFIED!
I loved all your pictures as well. Can't wait to hear and see more. Love you!
Jen
Glad to hear you have a couple of friends to hang out with! Congrats on your diving certification! I'll bet that is so neat once you get the hang of it. Dad and I had a cloudy, stormy weekend at the Charlesworth, but still had a great time. Thanks again!! I'll give Ruthie a kiss for you today. And everyone else too! Can't wait to hear about your adventures in the jungle!! Love You!!
dont forget about the unicorns, they were there too!! the pics are beautiful, keep them coming. You look great as usual and the guns look well maintained in the beach picture. Its nice to know how much fun your having in your single free spirited kind of way. love ya mucho grassy ass. talk to you soon jennie
Life in a different world! I have to say -- it is really so hard for people in the US to believe that there are truly people (old or otherwise) who really just want to be kind, caring people and are not all perverts!! It pays to be cautious, but you have good instincts, So just trust your gut!!! You didn't take all those psych courses just for fun, remember! You should be able to recognize the psychos!! I'm reading a book that in Ecuador they have cockroaches big enough to make a dinner out of !!! Shall we do that for your NEXT trip???? That place absolutely looks like heaven!!! Let us know how your dive went!
Thank you for the song and also the phone call !! Sorry, we were out shopping and I missed you. Having a wonderful day! Nannie and I were reading your last message, and we both thought the same thing... are you crazy ??? But it all sounds really cool (minus the cockroaches !) and we are sure you are being cautious. Can't wait to read more about the diving and see some pictures. You can't stay -- the kids would go crazy w/o you !!!! Love from everyone here !!
oh..... you are so very brave!! I was so much more fearless in my younger years.....the first thing I thought to myself while reading your entry....."is she crazy getting in to a car with two older men, STRANGERS!!" Now I am showing that I am a Mom! Good luck today with your open water dive, I look forward to reading about it, no worries you are tough:-)
hola girlie!!! Hey... I love reading your entries... so wish I could live vicariously through you (well, I kind of am). So, we miss you at the studio. Guess what, we are installing ceiling fans in the big studio... and ripping out the carpet and installing bambo flooring... cool eh? Thought you would want to know what you have to look forward to when you return.
Have a ball in Hondoras.... and look forward to reading your next entry!!! Om Om Om, Jill
amazing... Hey Sue!
Thank you so much for my birthday wishes...that was AWESOME! I swear, I am an addict to your travel blog. It is like a book with pictures that I can't put down. Your photos are amazing and absolutely gorgeous. You look like you are having a great time! Keep the pics coming! Hugs!
Enjoying the blogs Sue - I haven't written but am enjoying all of the blogs. It really feels like I am right there with you, except the fact that I am sitting in an air-conditioned office and can have ice cream anytime I want:) We will have to treat you to Cold Stone Creamery when you return! Have a great time!!
We'd never make it with no ice cream!! Love the pictures, especially the lake (the kids like the dog!) So glad you are enjoying yourself. Can't wait to hear about the diving! I'm sure you'll see some cool stuff down there. Went to the beach this weekend, and we'll be heading down to fortescue with your gift on friday. Everyone is doing good here, and they all say hi and we love you! Love, Lin
me again! Well, now, Honduras sounds fascinating! How long were you at the border? Copan sounds like an "interesting" place -- lots of heat, not much cold helado!! I am guessing you've been trying it as you travel -- isn't their ice cream neat??? We will be awaiting your pictures of you in your full scuba gear!!!! Can't wait!
Hurray!! The lake is magnifico!!! And almost as I remember it! SEriously -- I am so glad you are having such a wonderful experience!! And I really enjoyed the pictures -- I almost didn't open this because I'd read it at work -- but the pictures didn't come through on that one!! Glad I looked at this one again!!! Keep trekkin'!!!
Hello! you look like you are having so much fun!! Looking at the pictures makes me realize how much I want to travel! Doing any yoga in beautiful places? I knew a yoga teacher who would travel and have someone take a picture of her doing a yoga pose in different places all over the world- and she made an album! How about Sue in headstand in Hondouras? Maybe cobra in Nicaragua? Have fun and I look forward to updates!
no ice cream what It looks so beautiful there. you are the most free spirited person i know and a brave one at that. keep the pics coming i feel like Im with you. love ya jennie
Beautiful Sue,
Your pictures of the lake are gorgeous, it must be awesome in person. Glad your having a good time. I start grad school in 2 weeks ...much rather be traveling!!!! Enjoy and stay safe.
Name that tune.. Last night I dreamt of San Pedro
Just like I'd never gone, I knew the song
A young girl with eyes like the desert
It all seems like yesterday, not far away
I fell in love with San Pedro
Warm wind carried on the sea, he called to me
Te dijo te amo
I prayed that the days would last
They went so fast
