Arriverderci Roma
It has been wonderful reading your blogs during your travels. We feel like we have travelled with you vicariously and look forward to hearing many more stories. The pyramid in Rome dates back to the Roman Empire and there are in fact many other Egyptian things scattered around Rome. Egypt was part of the Roman Empire and they kind of got fascinated by Egyptology for a while in Rome. Isn't that a pip! I am sure the Colosseum will amaze you when you see it and the catacombs will fascinate you. And don't forget the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican. It is brilliant. Then it will be arriverderci Roma and a long flight home. See you in the morning.

Manford looked like he enjoyed playing with Batman. You'll have to make him a cape when you get home and some undies! Great catching up with you last night and seeing that you are still smiling and enjoying each others company. You might need to find a shipping company to take some of your luggage back to Australia or you wont be able to buy anything else! Take care love you mum

I am impressed with your clothes line, I presume that the room was rather warm for them to dry. Not like in Australia where we often turn off our heating or turn it right down over night! Laura looked like she enjoyed catching up with you too. Is one of your suitcases really light now? Robert didn't pop out of one of them? I can't believe that you have been away for nearly three weeks. Keep having fun catch up with you soon love you mum. Enjoyed talking to you this week.
