Hi, Guys, you don't know me, I'm just enjoying your fantastic photography of places I'd love to go, but Skye, reader that you are, now that you are hooked on masks, you have to find a copy of Joan D. Vinge's Snow Queen (online or at some out-of-print bookstore) and read it. Oh, and concerning heights, bravery isn't the lack of fear, it's not letting fear controll you. You are very brave. -Xan

Arriverderci Roma
It has been wonderful reading your blogs during your travels. We feel like we have travelled with you vicariously and look forward to hearing many more stories. The pyramid in Rome dates back to the Roman Empire and there are in fact many other Egyptian things scattered around Rome. Egypt was part of the Roman Empire and they kind of got fascinated by Egyptology for a while in Rome. Isn't that a pip! I am sure the Colosseum will amaze you when you see it and the catacombs will fascinate you. And don't forget the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican. It is brilliant. Then it will be arriverderci Roma and a long flight home. See you in the morning.

Rumour?
Rumour has it Venice wont be around in 50 years cause of the sinkingness. Know if this is true?
29th April 2010

Manford looks scared!
Manford looked like he really wanted a life jacket sitting all by himself on that seat! Your photo's look lovely but I have to say Venice has too much water for me. Glad you got to have a ride on a gondola, it looks so romantic! Can't wait to see you, love you mum and Ron.

Masks
Did they have any V for Vendetta masks? Cause that would be cool. Nice work on the accomodation change.
27th April 2010

Unfortunate...
I spose there always has to be one loser in a race, and this one took out the accomodation loser yay

25th April 2010

take the good with the bad
I like the saying count your blessings because we need to remember that we are really blessed, especially being able to take such wonderful holidays! Least you only have a short time in Venice and I hope the sightseeing is worth putting up with the "terrible cabin". Take care mum ps looking forward to seeing more of the pictures that you couldn't upload. Love you

glad you are feeding Manford
I had to catch up with your blogs, been rather busy at school. Glad you are feeding Manford he looked like he enjoyed the fondue and hope you will share the chocolate with him! You are doing so much and collecting so much! Remember you have to declare things when you get back to Australia. I got one thing confiscated coming back in, an album as it had a banana leaf on it! I got a HD for my last assignment. I had to translated some Yolngu Matha, hard but interesting. Enjoying taking time out to read your blogs and the photo's are amazing. Take care love you mum

20th April 2010

Cooooooooooooooool
I wanna go there. I hope I have time as I'm now gonna spend a day to go see Schloss Neuschwanstein, which leaves me 1 full day in Munich, but well we all know how much I love BMW's so I'm sure I'll get there before other stuff =p

Manford taking up a career as Robin
Manford looked like he enjoyed playing with Batman. You'll have to make him a cape when you get home and some undies! Great catching up with you last night and seeing that you are still smiling and enjoying each others company. You might need to find a shipping company to take some of your luggage back to Australia or you wont be able to buy anything else! Take care love you mum
17th April 2010

Lego
Legoland still excites me. It looks cool and I have decided you should go back and steal me Lego Batman. =p
17th April 2010

Titanic
I reckon I could eat it in one sitting. Sounds like a good tour though, depressing, but good, especially for free =p
17th April 2010

Has Manford been watching King Kong?
In one of your photos Manford looks like he is trying to scare all the people acting like King Kong and then your last photo he looks like he is running away from a bear! Tell him he has big teeth and don't let the bear (and anything else) scare him, just bite them!! Wow what a day and so much information. I am amazed you three have not run out of steam! You must sleep well. Take care, praying for you mum and Ron.

Good thinking!
I am impressed with your clothes line, I presume that the room was rather warm for them to dry. Not like in Australia where we often turn off our heating or turn it right down over night! Laura looked like she enjoyed catching up with you too. Is one of your suitcases really light now? Robert didn't pop out of one of them? I can't believe that you have been away for nearly three weeks. Keep having fun catch up with you soon love you mum. Enjoyed talking to you this week.

You didn't mention Luxembourg!!!
I can't believe you didn't even refer to going through Luxembourg in your blog. How could you forget to mention the highlight of your trip, correction, the highlight of your life so far. You better make sure you don't forget to go to Liechtenstein after you leave Germany, and when you do, don't forget to write about it. How could anybody forget to say they went through Luxembourg on the way from Brussels to Hagen?

Beer
Stop making me crave delicious beer I cannot have. Triple strength, thats my kind of beer =p Also I do not believe you correctly translated what Manford said about the fruit beer.
