Sunday 3.1.2010 Day 80 Portugal coast Day 80 and we are not around the world yet hmm oh well we are having fun doing it a lot slower. We woke up and had a fantastic European bfast we thought we were the only people in the hotel and that the bfast was all for us so we eat most of it then another couple came in we felt bad about eating all the food so we rushed out got our stuff and then check out of the hotel. Friday 1.1.2010 Day 78 Chanel Ferry We had bfast in the coffee shop then went whale and dolphin watching on the top deck. We also when to a talk on whale and dolphin watching after the talk there where lots of dolphin all around the ship and playing in the water. We had lunch and then had another look around the ship before having dinner and then going to the evening show. Wednesday 30.12.2009 Day 76 Portsmouth We walked to King Arthur castle it a fantastic place on the side of a cliff and Merlins Cave is there as well. We then drove to Stonehenge we could not believe how many people where there we saw more than 10 busses come and go while we were there. It cost £6.60 per person to go in and you cannot walk inside the stones there is a path around then that you have to stay on a long way from the stones and with hundreds of other people. The monument evolved between 3,000 BC and 1,600 BC and is aligned with the rising and setting of the sun at the solstices. It is a world Heritage site but the toilets and museum on the site are temporary buildings. It ... read more

Monday 28.12.2009 Day 74 ST just / Lands end We had a fantastic bfast at the hotel but the cook had to go on about fat people and people getting court OS smuggling drugs. We then drove down to lands end the southernmost point of Great Britten. We then found a great hotel call the Commercial in St Just the centre of ancient sites in west Penwith. We had a great dinner in the pub. St Just is a world heritage site for it's ancient mining.... read more

Saturday 26.12.2009 Day 72 Bournemouth It was our last day in the Lakes today so we checked out and headed to Bournemouth beat hotel. It is a bit run down but we got a good deal. The hotel is full of music stuff on the wall. The bed was very uncomfortable and the kettle had lots of stuff in it so we had to get a new one the lift was not working and we were on the 3rd floor so that was not fun. Then when we tried to get to sleep there was riot in the hotel with kids running while and screaming braking windows and doors down with fire hydrant this went on all night and was on our floor and the one below.
