Dates!
Hey! We too were on vacation around the time you had hit Tarkali. Abe bata deta we would have joined you at Tarkali!!! I was traveling with Naina, Kapil and his girl-friend (who he later marriied) on road and had stayed at Goa and Ganapatipule. Have heard that Tarkali is a great place to lounge on the beach with a beer in your hand a book to read. Cheers!

Awesome!
Hey Buddy!! That is an awesome account of your holiday. Must say that I am really tempted to visit this place. By road! Traveling by road is THE way to travel. You get to stop and relish spots that you encounter which is a serious limitation in public trasport. I too used to write and post pictures about assignments and holidays on my blog (rohytkumar.blogspot.com) but have not updated it in ages. Perhaps because I have not had a vacation (until last month). Pictures have come of that vacation and I am surely going to upload them soon. How have you been? How is the wound healing now? Have you joined office? Cheers!

Way to get to Tarkarli
Hi Neville!! Regret the delayed response. You can definitely drive down from Mumbai. However, it would take one full day to get there. Plus, I am not sure of the road conditions. I have done most of my travel driving around and this trip was amongst the very few I did by train. So my suggestion is if you have a smaller group and love driving, go ahead. Else choose the train.
