was undecided on what to do so i ran some errands and then decided to leave myogalpa and get somewhere out of town for some fun. 1st tried some huevos rancheros and met really cool older couple who have lived all over the world and travelled all over. they have a place in florida and teach at an international school. sounds like a good life. so i caught the ¨chicken bus¨ to chaco verde and saw some more estonians, 3 of them, who said it was a good place to chill and watch the sunset, but that everyone there was ¨old¨. up early after another crap nite of sleeping. was awake at 430 to gert the 530 bus to paquera. met another traveler on the ferry that gave me lots of good info on where to go in nicarauga. met a guy named pasquel from canada on the bus to liberia and he helped me find a room at la posado del tope for 10 $ which was pretty high. ate out at a few places and ran some errands. got gas for my stove so i can save more money by making my own coffee. no where to send my xtra [View Full Entry]

slept like crap the nite before i left for cabo blanco. should have brought my full tent and carried the few extra pounds. all i have is a bivouc tent tarp kind of thing that has no wall and my mosquito net. i have a ground tarp, but the bugs can get in under the net. so no more camping. just one more night. i missed the 1st bus to to cabo blanco because the the book had the time wrong. but that was okay because i got to eat comido tipical, typical food. then i caught the 10am bus and [View Full Entry]

yesterday i left from san jose to montezuma via the bus boat bus ride. it wasnt bad and i met lots of nice and helpful people. before i left i went for a very long run in the city which was a good way to see it, but i got lost and it took more than an hour. i met 2 guys from isreal on the trip and shared a very small room with them. then this morning i met a couple from vancouver and we hiked to some amazing waterfalls and then got lunch. after that i moved my stuff [View Full Entry]

hello everyone who is reading this. so i arrived in costa rica finally after about 20 hrs. thank god i have a direct flight home from belize. i left tacoma at 245 caught my flight in seatac at 5pm flew to LA after a 2 hr layover then to miami for a 4 hr layover then to SJCR arriving at 930 our time. then i went to the wrong side of town for my hostel but i finally made it to the nicest hostel in san jose called costa rica backpackers. it is 12 a nite in a dorm style room, [View Full Entry]
