what the heck?
Geez, I get involved with work more than I want for one year and suddenly I'm oblivious to the wanderings of Juanita. Wazzup? (also the alter-ego name of our new kitten, but, really...What's up? Cambodia full time????)

La Cosa Nostra
Your Father, "Don the Don" would be so proud! Juanita "The Barbarian" Accardo! I think my family would do well in that environment. Gary"You No Me"Accardo, John "PitBull" Accardo, Tony "Bad Knees"Accardo, and Matteo"Who's for Lunch" Accardo. Just remember that the original one who began this cycle, is still riding your cycle. And the Play Station, Sonie, gets getting mo monie. You need to contract a thug to monitor your assests while away. A great man once pontificated that" I can humor a missdmeanour, if I get what I require." He must have been Khmer? Be careful.

As the World Turns?
I would have though, from your latest writtings that the title would read,"As the Stomach Turns". Next time bring a pair of wire cutters with you. It requires some night time espionage, but it is well worth the effort. Who knows, maybe the Khmer population will find that their IQ goes up with quality sleep?

Bajajaja!
Why is that in Cambodia, where their roads are arguably the worst in most all the world, they have a bike called the "Baja"? Do you think that in the remote Mexican penninsula of the west they sell off road vehicles called the "Cambo" or the "Khmer"?

Wow!
Your fingers must be on steroids. I am loving all the descriptive stories and am easily reminded of the travels I have enjoyed. Keep it up dear, and you can build a photo blog/book to sell in the future. It will add to the funds for places like this orphanage. Will we get some photos soon? Much love to you. (Sorry about the $ rant)

Juanita, I'm enjoying reading your adventures and living vicariously through them; however, there are some parts I do not dream about. I would not mind being called a ninja but somehow I doubt that will ever happen. I hope you are taking care of yourself through all this; I have a feeling you are turning into a stick figure. When you come home I will take you out for icecream and pale ale. Love Karen

Prepared?
No compass. No tent. Insufficient food supply. Incorrect clothing. Well at least you brought your clogs! Take care.

F___ing Nuts
So now that I have read this summary of people that do not prepare well for traveling I can only laugh. And I am certainly glad I swapped my good jacket, so you could not ruin it as well. And what, no theory on the benefits of jungle trekking in clogs? I wish I could have been there! Glad your safe, again.

I envy you dear friend! But life's not to bad here in Stockholm during summer either. I've bought a little sailing boat, and your'e most welcome to join us on a cruise to the remote islands of the outer archipelago of Stockholm. By the way, we're getting married. I know you think it's a bad idea, and so did I. But it's quite romantic, after all!
