I'm glad you came!
It was a pleasure for me to show you around Barcelona, this city where I lived during 4 years and is still in my heart! There are many things you haven't seen yet there so..... are you going to come again? xxxx

was it necessary?
Maybe I lost my opportunity to visit this famous temple in India.... There were 2 ideas in my mind in the moment I had to decide: in one hand I knew that everybody talks about this temple and it's like a "compulsary stop" on the way. In the other hand... "do I want to go to a place with hundreds of rats running on my feet?" Not really!!! And, in India you don't need to go to any special place to see rats, right? I had enough living for 6 months in Vedanthangal! Thanks for let me decide Aussie! xxx

nice spot near de Ganga
Very good and big chai! I think it's a great idea to interview some people and write a blog about them. It's another way to know about cities, cultures and ways of life! Go for it Aussie!! xxx

It's a treasure, really!
I'm glad we folllowed the tips from Will and Jeff and we stopped in this special place! That temple on the top of the hill is amazing! When I think about Rewalsar I remember the colours of the paintings, those momos, that rainy day and my new beats! xxx

Reminded me of the importance of the favourite chai shops in Aceh, Khagrachari and Bhairawa. And just added to my restlessness. Cheers and hugs

You seem to find the right places always
Beautiful and informative. This reminded us so much of our recent holiday in Bhutan and of the Buddhist temples, the Zhongs ( forts) and of course the huge prayer wheels which we loved to rotate.

Ah, Barcelona....
Great photos of a beautiful city. How lucky you are to get to pass through Barcelona often.... Haven't read the book but absolutely agree how wonderful it is to be reading something set in the place you're experiencing. Hope you're still enjoying your wanderings. Rosie

Australia
Paul, I loved this blog. Steve and I have experienced the end point...the cathedral, the pilgrim mass with the swinging massive thing on ropes pulled by the Priests (can't remember its name). We had a beautiful 3 days in Santiago...loved the atmosphere, tapas, buskers in the cobbled square xx

Catalanian Castells
I'm sure I prefer Catalanian Castells to bull fighting. Look out for Stephen Maturin while you're there. XX R

funny story
Hi Paul, this made me smile. I am sitting in Dianne Nixon's little house in Broken Hill. Couldn't be more Australian. Went to the Anzac ceremony today in town...very moving. So, to read about your adventures in a different culture and now you are moving on to wonderful Spain. We loved Barcelona ( there last year). Enjoy the departure from India (you know you will long for her soon, though) xx

RLI index - love it!
I'll remember the RLI when it starts to hit me and smile. I'm here till at least mid Aug, with visa extension Nov/Dec and it is still going well. I can't believe your time has gone so quickly, but I wanted to say I am really happy for you and enjoy Spain. Get Carolina sometime to take you up to Asturias and go riding and hiking up in the Picos - I think you'd like it there. If we bump into each other again - a beer awaits! Take care, buena suerte amigo! hasta luego!
