I had the most amazingggg day I'm back in the honeymoon phase full out. I went with the family to an ecological reserve on rio de la plata, just past puerto madero and we had such a good day. So, classes have officially started for me. I had my first class, in contemporary international relations, at Di Tella today. It looks like an awesome class, it's really small, the professor is really nice and funny, except the readings and films are all in english? It looks like it will be a really great class, with no exams or papers only a group project. soo we visited all the universities and i'm kind of regretting not registering at UCA because UBA is mad bootleg. like i can't even explain - graffiti everywhere an elevator that's about 52 decades old run by a man with a hot attitude...we took our exam on like benches with these dusty desks it was just so not ok in too many ways. filosofia y letras is a little nicer which is where i'll be taking classes, also really close to my house...i'm un poco nervioso that the classes will be really hard but we'll see. time is going by so [View Full Entry]

i found a wifi cafe cerca de mi casa! i'm here with emily now having lattes and a delicious piece of cake that has chocolate cake, with dulce de leche, whipped egg(sounds gross, it's delish) and marshmellow with chocolate...amazing. my house is nuts right now a lot of maite's little friends are over...i was taking a nap until they thought it would be a great idea to extend the game of hide and seek into my closet. hopefully tonight, dinner is a little better. tonight we're going to el museo which is supposed to be one of the poshest discotecas in [View Full Entry]

buenos aires is amazingg!!! i got here on monday at about noon. i live in a house in almagro. when i goth ere only the cleaning lady was here and made me delicious spaghetti and showed me to my huge room with my own baño and hallway. i live with two host padres and their kids maite who is a 5 year old girl and iñeqi who is a 9 year old boy. the food is yummmyyy except the polenta here is gross. saturday we went to l'ecole on thames and costa rica in palermo soho and spent ~12 american dollars [View Full Entry]
