Finally made it to Oz! Flew from Singapore to Cairns via Darwin. Long trip but we made it! Spent a few days in Cairns. Nice place. Didn't get to go diving on the Barrier Reef as it was expensive so am going to wait until i have a job in Melbourne and then get internal flight back up to Ciarns in a few months and do it then! In Airlie Beach now and heading to the Whitsunday islands tomorrow for the day. Look them up!! The pics are from SE Asia - some vietnam, some of the killing fields in Cambodia and the prison there (S21). Just a quick entry. Flew up to Chiang Mai from Koh Samui and are staying in Julie's guesthouse. Cool vibe here and met loads of people. Chiang Mai is a nice place and lots to do. We did a thai cooking course and learned how to make spring rools, pad thai, curries, etc. Was cool. We also did the Gibbon Adventure where you zipline from tree to tree in the Chiang Mai Rainforest 100 metres off the ground that wa fun!! We're flying to Luang Prabang in Laos on friday. We are heading to Chiang Mai zoo today and also the temple nearlby. We also got our Vietnam visas. We had to send away our passports but we got them back now so it's all good!
