Big 4! Hi both, still following your progress with eagerness as our 'due date' comes ever closer! We're busily looking for suitable vehicle/sleeping thing (4WD and caravan probably) and we almost pounced on a Nissan Patrol but it's older than yours and I suspect a lot thirstier!!
We'll defo join up with Big 4 - they look pretty good and are in lots of different places.
Loving the HUGE spider pics!! Showed it to a 'jungle man' in our office and he proclaimed it's not a Wolf spider cos they don't live in Oz ... but he didn't know what it was! Fair shout to Caroline for having a shower with it hanging around - good on ya!!
You've shown that mobile broadband is a fabulous thing ... we'll defo getting that on arrival too!! Speak to you soon

We havent forgotten you Hey guys
We miss you and mum and dad have not forgoteen your great company. But today you did miss a trip to temora for a field day where they where showing lots of trucks and tractors and farm machinery and talking farm stuff all day. Diamond Princess Hey you guys the DP pics are absolutely fabulous. Caz if you get chance I would love you to email me them as there are a couple here that are good enough for our Exotics brochure which I will be working on later this year and I am sure I can get them in. No rush but just if you get chance within the next few weeks. I'd really appreciate it. Loving the blog still - it all sounds so fantastic. Well its Valentines Day and I have just spent the afternoon catching up on your blog - Denz is being Mr Romantic tonight though and doing me a lovely dinner. Take care of each other x

Struggeling Hi Steve,
Thanks for your message, we are not struggeling,we are on a 6000 acre sheep farm and the fires are a long way away.
The smoke has drifted around 300K's and you can smell it in the air, but nothing serious.
The weather has cooled today as they said it would, so its quite civilised.
Having a wonderful life experience, you want to try it sometime.
Andy
Hot news Seeing the news over here about the heat in Oz and the bush fires, I hope you two are not struggling too much. Snow or heat? I think i'd go for the snow at the moment!
Experience .... fabulous experiences you're getting on your trip. How wonderful ... great to experience some real life. Let us know how you're getting on with mobile broadband aswell!! All the Best from Darryl and Sarah
Canopy walks are amazing - have done several - remember the one in Taman Negara in Malaysia which is quite long - (supposed to be the oldest virgin rainforest in the world) - just an iron ladder with a bit of netting over it in places to walk on - and in some places a fat Canadian guy bouncing around infront making me feel a bit seasick - it is a beautiful experience. Would u believe - they even installed a short one at Kew Gardens last year in the summer. Have not read your blog for ages and doing all my catching up in one go - it's brill Kx
Sky Tram and Canopy Walk Hello from the igloo. The sky tram etc in Costa Rica is a baby compared to the Ozzie one. I am glad we did not have to climb a spiral staircase..well I certainly wouldn't have anyway. It looks fantastic all the same. Keep safe..miss you...love you xx
Zig Zag This may be too late, but the Zig Zag railway is a must. One of the highlights of our trip.
If you talk nice to the Engineer or Fireman, Canadian titles BTW, you might get a trip down or up in the cab.
Love the blog.
Keep up the good work.
And ENJOY the adventure of a lifetime.
Thank You! Sorry to make you cry reading the blog... you should have tried writing it..... We will have fun..... and make the most of this time that we have fulfilling this dream. See you on Skype soon. Cxx
"The Dish" Well that was emotional.... cant believe that I have cried reading your blog today! You are both an inspiration to anyone who has got dreams .... I am so happy that you are both living it, you deserve it. Carry on having fun. Lots of love, Babs x
the stars Caroline the pictures of the stars came out beautifully. I know you said you were happy with them, but they look amazing! I need to get us off our behinds and go to the telescopes at night i think.
He gets that from his father! Well yes, Andy has inherited the trait of being able to strike up a conversation with anyone, from his father. He also had the ability to get into a conversation with just about anybody, and then completely talk them to death!! I've seen people glaze over on many an occasion!!! However, it made him a very popular person, as it has Andy.
Hope you are both ok. Sorry haven't been in touch this week but am getting back into my routine of work at work and then work at home!!! Whilst now also having to fit in a visit to Mary in the afternoon - which isn't a chore at all really, it's great to be able to see her every day, something I haven't done for 22 years.
For all the bloggers who know about Mom's move - she's fine and has settled really well now she has got to know the staff and got into the routine there.
Anyway am missing both of you loads, especially as I haven't spoken to you all week. Kids both send their love to you, they are fine - challenging, as usual but better now they are back at school!
Take care and have fun

Pushbikes Pushbikes with a rack on for surfers - now thats cool! I remember seeing a guy with a park bench on a push bike in Vietnam! We cycled back from a friends house on New Years Eve - successful until I got into the driveway and fell off - a relaxed fall (now I wonder why that was port cider wine - but no champers!) and no injuries! Going to see a band on Friday and will have to cycle back from Cowplain over Portsdown Hill...Fantastic blog write ups and photos and keeps me occupied on my days off of work! It makes me feel very restless though. Have fun Love Kx
now i understand... HI!
After reading your blog i now see what my naughty dog actually got up to! :-)
I haven't used the hose pipe on her but rather I put the sprinklers on which she loves to play with. That is probably why she was a bit taken aback with the hose. :-)
I looks like she had a great time! We found the ball-under the couch where they all end up.
I will let you know the dates that we will be going away and will send you a ref this week!
hope you are having a great time!
Faye
Pankogate Morning Matron,
I honestly can't remember treading on Panko, but I can remember kicking him, by accident of course.
He was probably going to die anyway. I can't see how my intervention accelertated the situation.
When we were writing the Pankogate blog, we were hysterical with laughter though.
Thats not right.!!!
Re: Great Blog Hi Gary, We are both looking forward to getting back on the move. We just needed to get christmas and new year out of the way, get a little bit of planning done. The first part that we have done was a good test for all of our camping equipment, truck, tent etc. Coming back to the Sunshine Coast meant we could sort out a few teething problems then get our journey well underway. Glad you are enjoying the blog, we are enjoying writing it and taking the pictures. Happy New Year. Caroline
Great Blog Love the blog.
Can't wait till you are on the move and seeing (and reporting on) all the new, exciting places that abound in Australia.
Will keep an eye out for your updates.
Back in the November of 2008, we embarked on an adventure that would take us out of everything that we were so familiar with, a comfortable life in the UK, friends, family and the English countryside. Some call it brave, others thought that we would be back, but above all, most people helped us embrace the challenge that lay ahead of us.
Weary of corporate life, we emigrated to Australia, with the notion of buying a 4 wheel drive and camper trailer and a 12 month trip to explore our adopted country, Not an easy thing to do as we had to start from scratch, simple things like knife, fork, s... full info
