This is who we are Congrats on the Big Seven Andy & Caroline. Oz is a Big Country so Big is the Seven. Love your enthusiasm for our sunburnt country that for us is easy to be enthusiastic about. Best from David & Denise, your friends from the East...NSW that is!
Mischief! Hi kids!
Pleased to see that the mischief-ness of childhood is still alive and well within you two. I can just picture the two of you, getting up to such antics. Just two big kids at heart. :) And, Andy, I hope that you treated your Mystery Caller with due diligence. :) And, Caroline - what a hoot on your part!! :) ..... and, yes, we ALWAYS read all of your blogs so, now you know that you have at least one adoring fan in your audience. :) Love you guys. J & T (now that he's back home) xxx
Zoos Hi guys,
Yes - Ted spent 10 days away in Caloundra, playing in the Australian Vet's TT championships. Said he played better than he expected so, that was a plus. :) I opted to stay home, as I still wasn't feeling up to par and, already having been away for 5 weeks, didn't have the energy to up stakes and be gone again in two days time - with just enough time to wash all the dirty clothes and pack up again - so, had a very relaxing time at home whilst he was away. :) Feeling more like my old self now - first time in ages. :) J xx Hey! did you notice that KJ and SkiSet were both on the TB front page at the same time? :)
Sit back and relax Isn't it nice to have those 'sit back, relax and view the stars' weekends to refresh the mind and body? You sure have a wonderful area to do that. And of course all the right equipment.
I your truck diesel? Or do you need to carry spare petrol and diesel? Will need to read up a bit more on Rooby, I guess.
Camping is done for us. We winterize the trailer by putting anti-frees in all the lines. Need to get out more next year.
Nice work Caroline, calling Andy on the HF radio.
Sit Back and Relax Hi Guys,
we hope you are both well, thank you for the comments on the blog they are always appreciated.
We had a great weeke end in Dwellingup, it was just what we needed and as we are soon to come in to summer, thought we better get out and about and I so needed to get some head space.
It was awesome just to have a fire, we will soon have a fire ban so we had to make the most of it now.
Good to hear you are taking the right precautions against the onset of the cold, we really do want to get over to Canada again, sometime.
Our very best regards to you both and would you please forwards your home address as there just may be a KangarooJack (Special Edition) Christmas Card looking to be posted.

Zoos Hi guys,
Yes, Andy, I share your two-mindedness where zoos are concerned. For me, personally, Africa spoiled me for them, after seeing so many wild animals roaming free. However, not everyone has or will have the opportunity to be able to visit them in their natural habitats so, in this respect, zoos are wonderful for that reason. These days, zoos also do a marvellous job with the breeding programs many of them now have, thereby ensuring the survival of many species for future generations to enjoy. It is also good to see zoos such as Dubbo in NSW, which is a subsidiary of Taronga here in Sydney, that have the space available to be able to let the animals roam free, in habitats as similar to those in their native lands, as is possible. Have now caught up on some sleep and am over the jet lag - normal lifestyle resumes, once again .... whatever that is. :) Lots of love to you both. J xx (Ted's now on his way home from Qld as I type) :)
Zoo's Hi J& T
Great to hear from you and thank you for the comments on the blog, thank god someone is still reading it.
Also glad to hear you are getting back in to the 'Normal" pace of life, as you say what ever normal is.
We hope Mr Teddy is back safe and sound from his Queensland Jaunt, I guess that would be for TT.
Our love to you all.

Back in the November of 2008, we embarked on an adventure that would take us out of everything that we were so familiar with, a comfortable life in the UK, friends, family and the English countryside. Some call it brave, others thought that we would be back, but above all, most people helped us embrace the challenge that lay ahead of us.
Weary of corporate life, we emigrated to Australia, with the notion of buying a 4 wheel drive and camper trailer and a 12 month trip to explore our adopted country, Not an easy thing to do as we had to start from scratch, simple things like knife, fork, s... full info
