The Flying Kangaroo Hello Caroline and Andy,
Just catching up on the last few blogs after being on hols. Glad you both had a lovely anniversary holiday. When I come back to Aus I will definitely go there! Hope you have a lovely time at the wedding and back at the farm
Yay!! Yep! you nailed it in one. :) It's the second time I have seen it over the last few months. Have just read your last blog on Tassie. Are you all wombat-ted out now? ... never!! I hear him say. :) Hope your flying visit back to the east coast goes off without a hitch - apart from the one that is the whole reason you are coming back over this way and that the bridal couple have a lovely day weather-wise and celebratory-wise. Enjoy. Love to both. J xx
Vertical Motion ... Hey guys!
Great to see one of your photos up on the TB web page. Went to drop in to our own blog page to see if anything was going on and ,,, there it was, as large as life. :) Hope that you had a good trip back home to reality in the West and that your experiences and happy thoughts of your 25th wedding anniversary Tassie trip will remain long in your memory. Love & hugs from all of us here. J, T & Co., xoxox
Yay! How exciting, thanks for the heads up! But we missed it :( was it the one with the Rodeo horse? Tassie was so memorable, what a fantastic trip, back to reality and looking forward to our next trip - so soon. KJ
Congrats & Have a Blast 25 years today...yippee yeh...what a great KJ Wedding Anniversary day. Couldn't think of a nicer place for you guys to share this special day. Felicitations from David & Denise
You would get less for murder Hi Dave,
Great to hear from you both and thank you for your best wishes, This trip has reignited my love for Tasmania and to see my favourite marsupial in the snow was just mind blowing, don't tell customs but I have pinched one and its in my bag, it only weighs 35 kilo's.
Please say hi to your fabulous lady and we send our love to you both.

Wombat-Cam Hey Guys,
How great to talk to you a little while ago and so pleased that your Tassie experience is turning out to be all that you had hoped for ... and more. Lots of snow ... lots of wombats .. a warm and snug cabin - what more could you want? Will look forward to your pictures of your new addition as well as the dawn photos of Dove Lake. Continue to enjoy. Loads of love from here from all the clan. Jan xxx (at the moment, a slightly broken SkiSet :)
Catch UP Thanks for the bit of catch up on what's happening in your lives. "Favourite wife", nice one Andy. 20kilos amazing Andy, must feel a whole lot better. We sure hope that you have a wonderful anniversary week. Didn't make it to Tasmania on our trip. You know that you only have to come over here to get your fill of snow? Have an awesome week. ENJOY
Trains and cars Hi. Lovely trip via steam engine. I didn't realized there was a steam train 'near' Perth or we certainly would have been on it. Loved the Zig Zag railway. I didn't realize that MG made a sedan. I am used to the two seater sports car variety. Until I saw the picture I thought Caroline might have been a bit of a race car driver!!
Your Message Hi G man
When the brits owned MG theyb always were two seater sports cats, now I beleive the Chinese own it and I think they have a 4 seater, though its probably made out of Bamboo and are rubbish.

VKS 737 Good to hear you are broadcasting as the the Derby base rep Andy. Are you doing this from your home in the hinterlands of Perth as Derby is a long way from your place? If so, isn't technology grand?
I Wanna Hold your Hand Hi Dave,
Hope you guys are both well,
I am not assigned to Derby base, It just this time of year is bust=y and the Meekatharra Sked has the Derby base opening 15 minute before because there are so many people travelling, my , first sked had so many callers, it really was a baptism of fire, but I feel very honoured to be selected as a base operator.
My next sked is on Saturday evening I hope its not so busy, but I feel far more relaxed about it, to me there is a romantic notion of all these people travelling this great country in some really remote locations.
Our love to you both.
Andy and Caroline
I Wanna Hold your Hand Hi Helen, Thank you for your comment on our blog, I feel very honoured to be accepted as a base operator, I was having kittens when I did my first sked.
Our love to you both.

Reminiscence I really like it when you sort of summarize some of your travels. Sure don't know how you keep track of them!! Congrats on your new 'job' on the radio. Did your old home of Canberra get any of the snow that NSW and QLD got?
I Wanna Hold your Hand Thanks for your comment on our blog, and thanks for the congratulations, I am really enjoying being a base operator, I will put the recorded transcript on you tube as soon as I get around to it.

Back in the November of 2008, we embarked on an adventure that would take us out of everything that we were so familiar with, a comfortable life in the UK, friends, family and the English countryside. Some call it brave, others thought that we would be back, but above all, most people helped us embrace the challenge that lay ahead of us.
Weary of corporate life, we emigrated to Australia, with the notion of buying a 4 wheel drive and camper trailer and a 12 month trip to explore our adopted country, Not an easy thing to do as we had to start from scratch, simple things like knife, fork, s... full info
