SNAKES!!! SNAKES!!! Are you kidding me?? Not my favourite creature and they would not be wrapping themselves around my neck. Sorry, but not gonna' happen. Koala bears, they look like nice cuddly creatures but lots of claws. So much to talk about with these pictures when you get back guys. Stay safe, look after each other and today is Monday, March 1. Winter slowly wasting away here. -luv, pa

The Olympics have been great to watch...be sure to leave an inukshuk somewhere on your travels! holy macaroni.... Could you guys be having any more fun!!! Sky diving!!!!!!! Good job listening to Pa...he's got some good ideas! And the baby crocs? The kids loved those pics. You guys are soooo smart to be doing this. Thinking of you often...love Jackie
About the baby crocs Where is the mother croc while you two are handling its babies!!! I'm really enjoying following your travel blog and photos - so many adventures. The jump sounded extreme but you survived to tell us now didn't you!
You're making Steve Irwin jealous.... Crikey!! So glad you enjoyed the skydiving event. Awesome view no doubt. And awesome pictures of Australia from the air. BTW, picture of the eagle is remarkable. Fierce beauty at its' best. Sorkling on the GBR, huh?? Thought you could not do this in Northern Australia because of all the jellyfish?? Maybe I misunderstood what you had said. A whole month to look forward to in Australia as you work your way towards the Southern part. PRICELESS!! Enjoy (as if), stay safe, look after each other and stay in touch. We have so much to talk about with all these pictures. -luv, pa
Lots of questions.... ....Superb pictures guyz!! I will have lots of questions when you return. Zorbing looks like a lot of fun. I may get too dizzy if I was doing this one but you guys must have had a "ball" with this one. (Pun intended). Question for you: Are you guys keeping these pictures somewhere or should we be printing them off so that you have them when you return?
Off to Australia for one month next, eh!! So lucky and you look to be having so much fun according to these pictures. All for now. -luv,pa
BBBrrrrr...... ....I'm having trouble getting this message away so hope you haven't rec'd it twice now. Anyway, it is minus 22 Celsius degrees in Barrie this morning when I walked into work. Huge full moon in the west also. Did you get a frost down there last night??? Hahaha.
Just AWESOME PICTURES, BTW. Terrific view of ocean front from your room. Have to admit I am jealous now. Looks like you guys are really enjoying the sand-surfing. Even the wipe-outs look like fun. Sounds like you are improving on the wave surfing as well. Does my heart good to know you are both enjoying yourselves. Joel, is that a permanent tattoo on your left shoulder?? I never knew you had this and it looks great.
Plans to bungie jump and skydive sounds intense. I've done the skydiving thing but never got to attempt bungie jumping. Gotta' "dig deep" to take that first step, eh? Glo-worm caves is something we will talk about when you get back. Blackwater rafting done on a river??
Gonna' hafta' get some of these photos printed off so we can pass them around. So, have some more fun guyz and I have thoroughly enjoyed the pictures and reading the blogs too. Keep us posted. Love, pa
sunset... WOW!!!that Fiji sunset looks beauuuuutiful....now, I'm just really jealous...oh well, someone has to see Fiji, it might as well be you guys...maybe I'll take the next trip....what kind of fishing can you do there????? Surfing sounds totally fun, can't wait to hear how you guys do. All is well here, snow, exams for Emma, a little hockey for the boys and just maybe some icefishing---bet you're sorry you are missing that??!! Take care now....lots of love...Jackie
Winter Blahs.... It's Tuesday, middle of the winter, I'm at work, 0800 hrs, snowing lightly outside, Elvis and Michael Jackson are still dead, etc, etc, etc. Nothing new here BUT lots going on in NZ by the sounds of your e-mail. Surfing (I've never done that) and lots of warm weather. You guys please keep greasing up with the sun screen because you don't want a serious burn to sideline you for a few days. We're all glad to hear you are N-joying yourselves. (As if you wouldn't be, eh??) We are going down to Dave/Lynne's on Sat, Feb 06.
KIWI heaven.... ...ok, looks like you are getting my blogs. Sitting here at work (0800 hrs) and it's 5Celcius degrees outside. A mild spell for two days and the snow is disappearing slowly. Guess there's none there, eh? hahaha. NZ is a very unique spot I am told and I have pictures of it up on my terminal right now. Let us know (only if and when you get some time) what you are doing and a few more pictures if not too much trouble.
Were over to Durham on the w/e and got a bit more work done. Very relaxing though. You plan on any snorkling in NewZealand??
LIFE is GOOD!! So glad to hear you guys are having fun. GREAT PICTURES, BTW!! You guys look amazing when you're enjoying yourselves. Fiji will be a tough act to follow but I'm sure you are both excited to "press forward" and see what else is in store for you. New Zealand and Australia are extremely unique so I am told. I can only imagine wearing a bathing suit outside in January. Lots of sunshine by the looks of those "burns" you have. Glad to hear you are both healthy and there are no colds, sore throats, ear aches, etc. Look after each other and stay safe. Love, pa
dance, dance, dance Looking forward to learning those dance moves at girls weekend!!! You guys look amazing....we are checking in on you daily...the kids are truly enjoying the pics....thanks soooooo much. Good luck with the rest of your adventure!!
