Second Day in Budapest was walking... walking ... walking... up to Buda Hill! Well, before hand we stopped by at Nypoti (can't spell) train station to get our tickets for Zagreb - 28 euros each. Gosh... everything is so cheap compare to the UK. Imagine how much this would cost for a 6 hour train journey... at least 50pounds even for a young person card... ridiculous! anywayz, afterwards we walked around the Váci Utca the main shopping street in Budapest, and it starts raining! Hence we decide to stop by and have lunch first before going further to Buda Hill. Untitled Milk Powder Strolling at Budapest around River Danube in the evening We arrived at Budapest later than expected, because there was a thunderstorm around the airport so we kept having roller coaster ride on cloud 9... and falling a sleep. Everyone was so scared of staying too long in the custom as they fear the hungarian will question them like the time in Krakow... but gladly they are so friendly as they just chop, chop and here we are in Budapest! First impression of Budapest is it's a mixture of Paris (the Grand part, lovely western Architecture - Big, Large, GRAND!) and Communist buildings (the old, ugly, lost of broken holes - like the ones in Beijing... but I guess they are all gone now in Beijing for redevelopment). and I expected more of ... read more
