Yo Just realized I had not yet visited your blog.....bad buddy. Now I am wasting the next hour or so at "work" while I catch up. I'm off to Belize/Guatamala in 2 weeks so it's great to read about the adventure and ponder my own :) Hope all is well!
good luck Drew, you are a sensational writer. I can't tell you how hungry and tired I am after reading your story. Good luck on your next climb and keep the stories and pictures coming. We are thinking about you!
The spinach was a bad idea! Drew, it was great to see you. Thanks for scheduling a stop to visit, it was a pleasure as always. The beard looks rad and your diarrhea of the mouth was more than interesting to listen to. I'll always provide you with an ear when you need it. We shoulda listened to the warning on the news about eating spinach but that's why they say hindsight is 20/20, right?
Good Going Andrew Andrew, I thought I had lost your information - I was in a panic. But, lo and behold, I did. Please be sure to forward any photos you may want to share with me. I would love to see them. I can't believe you are already ready to come back here for a period of time and onto bigger and better things. Good Luck with everything. My email address, if you no longer have it, is gleemaster@ bear.com or lifeisnew4me56@yahoo.com. Things are going well here and I am learning the closing end of the business, but I still am going to take the leap in the near future, I hope, to go into photography. One step at a time. Good luck with everything. You have done a great job in your comments of your trip. How was Yellowstone Park? Were you able to find my friend - Lynette Hall? That would have been so cool. I will now start watching a little closer. Gayle Leemaster
want to see the pictures Dear Ansel Tandy,
Hopefully you will have time to stop by and show us your pictures while

"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
Benjamin Franklin.
Okay, but when? I appreciate the open invitation to Rula Bula, but unless you will be spending your entire week in phoenix there (not implausible), you might need to let us know when ! :)
Baseball bat Andrew,
Looks like the bear didn't want to play ball. What are the details of
the terrifying bear experience? It sounds pretty cool now that nothing bad happened.
Yes, the redwoods are a surrealistic heaven on earth. I'd say the
their environment is a bit better than a cubicle in a mortgage company.
Good for you Andrew. You are really doing it. As we say in spanish,
Mazel Tov!
I finshed the book THE ETERNAL LIFE:Philosophy and Consciousness:
Text and Poems. I'm about to make up 1000 copies. I hope you like it when you get a chance to read it.
I'll keep following your trail, at least , electronically.
Happy and healthy trails

Excitement Drew reading your adventures send me somewhere else. I remember the States being diverse but I guess I did not really take full advantage. You know that the offer stands if you come through Honduras some day, there are some pretty amazing things here that I know you would like. Keep us updated love reading every word! Keep safe and enjoy!!!
Hey Zion neighbors! Did you achieve the land-speed record you were going for? I was laughing about our midnight hike the other day. Who knew there were no bars open in latenight rural utah? Send me your contact info.
nature man Hey Drew!
Just wanted to say hello. I should be studying for grad school, but surfing blogs is more enticing. I'm exctied for you and your journey - and i can't wait to hear about it in person one day.
wishing you love, light, and transformation,
Dana :)
The bar is just around that next corner . . . Andrew,
It's good to hear that you are enjoying your time since we last spoke in Zion. Anthony and I headed from there to Vegas, lost too much money, and headed to Sequoia to explore some caves. From there we went to our cabin, built 90 years ago by my wife's family. It was an amazing trip, ful of friends, relaxation, and natural beauty. It's always joyful to meet good people and we both wanted to send you encouragement as you continue on. May you find all that you seek and then some.
Tim
Call of the wild - See ya soon! "One of the gladdest moments of human life, methinks, is the departure upon a distant journey into unknown lands. Shaking off with one mighty effort the fetters of habit, the leaden weight of routine, the cloak of many cares and the slavery of home, man feels once more happy." -- Sir Richard Burton
Keep on truckin' Sounds like fun, man. You know how I feel about this trip. Keep us updated and think about staying with my aunt. efgodfrey at cox . net <----email me.

That's more like it! I'm sure your hidden ninja instinct will kick in when a murdering, thieving bear is breathing down your neck. Who needs the extra weight of a gun when all you need is a vulcan neck pinch?
P.S. - Do inform us if you actually DO get mauled by a bear. I'll then need to reassess the former statement about your ninja skills.
Sometimes it is good to head into the wild and into the world, not to find ourselves, but to be ourselves.
