Rock climbing is considered to be a technical sport. With no previous experience of this, we went to rock climbing school located in the middle of city in order to take our first ever climbing lesson. after registering ourselves at reception and getting our special climbing shoes, myself and Ali were ready for our first climb. i did the first attempt and reached the top of the wall. it was real fun, while climbing, the whole body weight comes to figures and toes. not that easy as it first looks. learned the basics of climbing by the instructor who helped us giving confidence of doing the activity. spent two hours and climbed the wall four times. i always feel great excitement of doing things for the first time. so thoroughly enjoyed the time there. went to ... read more

its like 3 days in of Chiang mai and it has every thing in its city environment, giving all the calmness and relaxation to tourists who traveled thousands of miles to see this place. within range eating options, transport within 100 bhats for major places within the city, even walking sometimes feels better then taking a tuk tuk and light rain showers always make the mood pleasant. Ali was associated with this city much more then me and enjoyed every minute. a late night coffee outside MacDonald's always ends the day beautifully. sometimes i never understand the mentality of travelers finishing their days in bars while drinking alot of alcohol. for me life is much more then doing that. on the recommendation of tour desk, we booked a tour to Doi Inthanon national park and left ... read more

Read alot of Chiang mai in the past couple of months before reaching there with Ali. after reaching Bangkok from lahore on TG airways, we took the VIP bus at 11 am from northern bus station and reached Chiang mai at appx 10 pm. Bus stopped at just one place and overall it was a cool journey and we enjoyed seeing the country side. we had our booking at IMM hotel just opposite Thaphae gate so faced no problems in getting a swift check in. the best part of the hotel was its location, having Mcdonald's in its premises. so we took burger deal and came back to our room to end our day. There is no doubt in my mind now that this is the best metropolitan city in Thailand. City atmosphere was very ... read more
