Heyyyy!! Ok, so the story continues…. On the 18th May, Gem got back to Alice Springs after being away for 2 weeks, the weather was getting cold and so it was time to make the decision to leave Alice!! Ok, so Ive been in Alice about 2 months now… think I have a lot of catching up to do!! We’ve moved into a house, its owned by Toddy’s, one of the hostels here so we share rooms but its a real house with carpet and everything!!! It has 3 bedrooms but each bedroom has bunk beds in it! Ok so I just had an amazing idea and printed off a map of Australia and ive drawn a route of where we drove from Brisbane to Alice Springs!! Wooo!! As you can see there are 4 coloured dots, just to put the journey you have just read about into perspective! THE GREEN DOT is “Dalby” where we spent our first night! Woo… so our time in Byron is over, its been amazing, but I am defiantly glad to be on the move again!… On the 21st February, we woke early (albeit with slightly sore heads!) and got the remainder of our stuff together ready for Gail’s inspection..
