Just sending a little update. I loved my time in Puerto Viejo, on the carribean, and I met a lot of cool people, but I´ll write more about that another time. I´m here in Liberia, Costa Rica, and I´ve started the Global Learning Program. There are about 19 other volunteers (local and foreign). They all seem really great, and I think we´ll work well together as a team. We´re pretty much all young adults, and its so cool to interact with all these new people. Well, I´m in Costa Rica! My day started at 4am, so forgive me if I´m not coherent. The day actually started pretty well. My flights were fine, despite a bit of delay, I didn´t miss my flight from miami to Costa Rica. I arriveed in Liberia, Costa Rica, which is where my volunteer program will be, and dropped off the school supplies I collected so I wouldn´t have to carry them around for a week. the trouble started when I got to the bus station to go to San Jose (the capital, which is on my way to the beach). Hey everyone! So, I've decided to make a travel blog for this summer since I'll be in Costa Rica for a month (leaving June 29th), and Singapore for another 3 weeks after that. I figured this way it would be easier to keep in touch with everyone and share my photos and adventures.
