Bangkok Initially we planned on going straight from the Philippines to Vietnam, but because we spent a week less than we had planned in China we were a week ahead of schedule, so when our visa expired in the Philippines we had 7 days to kill before our visa to Vietnam began on May25th. Cebu City Well we caught a flight from Hong Kong to Cebu City, Philippines and arrived safely. We landed in the Philippines on April 28th and was granted a 21 day visa upon entry. Once we landed at midnight we jumped in a cab and headed straight to our hostel or pension house as they call them here. Now I thought mexico was a ghetto, it's got nothing on Cebu City!! Day 1 Well we finally made it to Beijing!! This is my first entry because we have been too busy for me to have the time to sit down and write. After our 16hr flight (13hrs direct from T.O) we landed safely around 5pm, and now had the tough task of navigating the streets of downtown Beijing without a map, not being able to read street signs and with no bystander able to help us with directions because of the language barrier.
