taman negara was great if u wanted to see loads of wildlife but pisspore for beer only one placed sould it and it cost a fourtuine. walk to the Canopy Walk its 30m high and basicaly made of ladders tyedup to 250yr old trees stu and lisa did a night safari in a 4x4 i did the real thing and trecked though the jungle at night with nothin but a torch and the knowage i got from ray mears on his tv programs the was no ware to do our washing so we did it in the sink in our room [View Full Entry]

we got a vip bus from Bangkok to Chumphon wernt a bad ride down took quite a while and was up at 6. Then got the ferry from Chumphon to Ko Tao were we landed at Ao Mae pier, we stayed in Blue wind bunglows on Hat Sai Ri beach. This was my favorite beach, beautfull sand,sea+sunsets. Did my 1st bit of snorkelling here was great but there was loads of dead coral. Ate on the beach most nights fresh fish on the barbee.. Ko Phi Phi Dom was an amazing place, climbed up to the view point wich had great views it also had pics from the tsunami that hit on boxingday 2004 it was quite surreal looking at it now and then. Stayed in green moutian view and is the best place ive stayed so far. the bathroom was outside with a view of the mountian (great when ur taking a dump or in the shower) .. Mr Tawiee the owner and absoluty loved his job and Khoa Sok, he was infuseastick (???close???) that it made u want to see more he took us to feed monkeys and in to the park to climb to the 3 waterfull they were stunning.We also went kanoing saw loads of wildlife was amzing. we arived in Kota Bharu had a walk round went in the malls (for the air con) we played bowling in one of them were i was spanked not only by stu but also lisa. Arrived in Luang Prabang off the boat. book in to a gust house with a tv (whooo). Had a bit of a walk around, had a roll i havent had bread for about 3 weeks so ive missed it lol. climbed up to thatchomsi (a nother temple) its 300 steps up (nakering in the heat) but well worth the view at the top. after the couple of days in Luang Prabang we headed down to Vang Vieng. Headed over to Chaing Kong so we could get in to Laos. It took five hours and it was absolutely pissing it down (not that it mattered as we were in a bus). Got to the border about 730 the next morning and crossed over in to huay xai (its pretty much 'how say'). Crossed over the mekong the was no quay's just had to climb up the muddy banks(it was still pissing down by the way). Pretty much spent the next day and half on a boat. Stayed about in ayutthaya for a couple of days did a boat trip round the island saw a couple of wats (pretty much had anoth of them now) found a small bar run by a english man. He was great because he had traveld quite a bit him self and gave me a bit on insider knowledge. Left Ayutthaya on the over night train and arrived in Chaing Mai early in the morning and had a lazy day did a bit of exploring but not much. We met up with sue a dave in bangkok saturday afternoon. Stayed in a posh hotel for two nights witch was relly nice after staying in cheap gesthouses. Had a wonder round bangkok, went up khao san road witch is touristy but good people watching. Went to the grand palace witch was amazing well worth goin to see, then went to the reclining buddha witch is huge.
