in Autthaya Stayed about in ayutthaya for a couple of days did a boat trip round the island saw a couple of wats (pretty much had anoth of them now) found a small bar run by a english man. He was great because he had traveld quite a bit him self and gave me a bit on insider knowledge. Left Ayutthaya on the over night train and arrived in Chaing Mai early in the morning and had a lazy day did a bit of exploring but not much. Went to the night market (were i brought some chequered flip flops, they look the dogs). Went on a trip were we went to the Burma border, hot spring, a water fall, Chaing Rai and another temple (a pretty busy day but was worth it). Also learned that Chaing means city a Mai can mean new,wood,old, fire and loads more things . Headed over to the Lisu loge the next day.Sue and Dave got a triple room to help me save money but on the 1st night we just had a masive bed (all under one mozy net too) Did loads there cooking, riding a elephant, bit of bike riding were dave come off(was so

lisu lodge funny he was about 10 mins after everyone else and when he did arrive he had a twig stuck in his helmet and mud all up his back). After that we went white water rafting witch was excellent me, stu and lisa went for a swim in the river wilist it was carm. The day befor we did ox cart riding witch was redicous was relly bumpy but was werth doin. Went back to Chaing Mai after a couple days with the loge, for a well needed rest .
