Spent a day in Singapore. Its a crazy city. Half western, half eastern. Asia is so warm and humid. Vietnam is even madder. Cars and bikes everywhere. They do not seem to have a highway code. Its almost impossible to cross the road but when you do there are 20p beers to be had, so its worth it. To escape the mania we went on a relaxing cruise to Ha Long bay.... read more

St Patricks day in Sydney. These people celebrate it more than we do! Gareth came up with the inspired idea to have a fry with potato bread - which of course they dont have here - so.......I attempted to make some. It was actually edible! Also we met some nice people who lived in a fabulous flat in bondi - Tom and Caly - they made us BBQs and we even had shrimp on the BBQ on Australia day! flamin gallah!... read more

Sorry for the lack of blogging. We have been very busy getting a flat, jobs and sitting on the beach. We are now working as a milkman/milkgirl. Good laugh and we get to spend mornings on the beach before work. We haven't taken many photos in the last 2 months. Over half a year since we left home. Miss everyone. x... read more

We spent 10 days on the fijian islands and went to 3 different resosrts. In the first resort we went snorkeling with sharks and got to touch them, crazy!We also so a million multi coloured fish.very pretty. Then we were treated to a fiji night were the islanders danced and we all drank kava - this is their version of an alcoholic drink. It is distgusting and tastes of soil and feet and leaves your mouth totally numb. The next few days we spent playing in the water,lying on hammocks and frying in the sun with our pale irish skin. We met some really lovely people and on christmas day had a sports day and played volley ball with the locals. not your average christmas! fiji is exactly what you would imagine paradise to look like. ... read more
