Hello! It's been awhile but thats mainly because we haven't done any more exploring lately! But we did have Krithia and Melvin come and visit us so I thought I'd put the pictures up of that weekend. I also got a new tattoo! Its on my foot, of a pohutukawa flower. It's the New Zealand "Christmas Tree" because the flowers are red and the leaves are very dark green. Hey! Well we haven't been out and about too much lately. No new places to report at the moment but a couple of pictures from my birthday and some pictures from Greg and Jess's farm! We headed out there on a Saturday for a BBQ - the boys were out for the day riding their dirt bikes and when we showed up Jess was in full gear trying to deliver a calf!! Hello! Well just wanted to post pictures of our one year anniversary weekend! We had quite a weekend! I cooked a really nice dinner for us on our actual anniversary day on Friday! Red snapper and mushroom, spinach and sundried tomato risotto with garlic and parmesan cheese! We had some red wine and watched the Bachelor! Hello! Haven't written in awhile! Things here have been really good. NOt working at the cafe anymore has allowed Mark and I to spend a lot more time together! Hello again! Sorry we haven't done any traveling lately so not too much to report! BUT last weekend we took a road trip around the mountain! I had never been out past Oakura and so we decided to take a Sunday drive out to Opunaki! We made some stops along the way...took some more pics of the lighthouse that Mark took me to when I first got here...it was a much nicer day than that first day so we got some good photo's!!! Hello!!!! Well just a quick update, as you guys are moving into summer we are getting winter! Yuck! And winter here is anywhere between 8 and 12 degrees and RAIN! But it feels like its much colder! It's such a damp cold brrrrrr! It chills you to the bone! And today, we finally got a day of sun today and I am stuck inside working! Hey so I have some photos and I will try to upload the video's from our trip to Auckland! We went up sat. morning and picked up our elliptical that Mark bought on TradeMe and then checked into our hotel on Queen St. Lady Gaga was so good (we were happy cause when we saw her on American Idol she kind of SUCKED!!) and the Pussy Cat Dolls were very entertaining as well! Hello! So here are the pics of the day we went "tramping" up to the ski hill on Mt. Egmont! Enjoy! This weekend has been nice....it was Anzac day yesterday so most shops were closed for the morning in remembrance of New Zealand's war heroes. We ended up doing some shopping in the afternoon cause then all the shops open and have big sales in the afternoon! I got 230 pics developed so I can start my photo album of my year here. Hi there!!!!! So Mark and I had our 9 month anni on Friday (17th) and we went out to this really incredible restaurant called Bella Vita (which I noticed due to the name!!!) And it was a really cute place, a little old house on the corner of the street! And we had the yummiest Italian food! I forgot to ask for my leftovers though :S grrrrr very silly of me!
