O.k, this is our 8th blog from the Wide Bay region, which stretches from Rainbow Beach in the south, to Hervey Bay in the north and beyond. Why is it so?, you may ask, well I'm glad you did, although you may not remember asking. I don't mind telling. The truth is, its deep winter, and winter nights in the freedom machine, like most camping arrangements, are pretty much "Brass Monkey", if you get my drift. However, winter nights in The Tin Can, parked by Tin Can Bay, are usually, a balmy 15 degrees. Given that seaside resides, are normally warmer, than inland, and when you have the largest sand island in the world, sheltering you from the wild ocean stuff, its quite cosy.
