So this will probably be the hardest blog I will have to write. trying to sum everything up. It was an adventure from beginning to the very end. being stuck at the Newark airport, getting to see New York and Strawberry Fields. Having to figure out the subway and thanks to my brother Chet who was talking to me on the phone and navigating me through this subway hell hole...LOL... (to say the least) hopping back on the train into New Jersey to catch my plane and head on into Dublin. Going on 3 days wearing the same clothes but met the best guys ever, Brent and John. I have reached one of my final destinations on this trip...I am at the dublin airport. I forgot to put my guiness marinade in my suitcase so they swiped it :( i am so upset...i wanted to try it too. Last night the Mick Flannery concert was great!!! unbelievable. he played piano and this crazy guitar. he had two woman singing with him as well...one played mandolin and the violin. the concert was at a place called Vicar Street. NUala rode into town with me today because she had business in cork...a bus ride into cork from sherkin is about 2 hours. and you have to get on 2 diff busses to get here...one sherkin to skiberreen and then from there to cork. william, nuala's son was heading off to school so he dropped us off at the bus stop in baltimore. so we got to mis one of the busses...he really is a sweet kid, quiet but sweet. so as we are waiting for our bus out of baltimore village we are taking cover under this alley way. nuala left to go to the ATM and so a couple people showed up to take cover as well. couple ladies and this man. so i was just minding my business and i heard the lady ... read more

Thursday may 21, 6 pm ireland time I am trying to be quick and write as much as i can Nuala took me to Cape Clear today we had to hop on a ferry to baltimore village, take a ferry there to cape clear. that was about a 45 min ride. the water was clear, blue\green...really really beautiful...i know that ya'll are tired of hearing me say that but really ya'll just don't understand. so we literally went hiking around the whole island....AROUND THE WHOLE ISLAND. i felt really bad for Nuala because she has a Plantar facsitis...but she hiked up and down the road/thru the mountain...i mean i kept telling her we don't have to do this...and she insisted she was ok...and that she could use the excersise...she is more woman...because the hike she put ... read more

ok so the bus trip was adventurous. i slept most of the way and i am sorry that i did because it was beautiful the times i woke up funny story to tell you there are signs everywhere at these bus stations that say do not bring hot drinks on the buses...well when i was in cork and transferring to another bus this woman proceeds to attempt to get on the bus. the woman bus driver and she is a firecracker i tell ya told her no hot drinks...the woman replies, oh i do it all the time. driver replies, not on my bus, sorry you have to get rid of it. lady goes around the corner of the bus, thought she was being slick and puts it in her bag...LOL she proceeds to step back ... read more

Last night i went hung out with the Boston boys. we were suppose to go karokeing...and well Tim thought they said karoke...we show up and no singing there... so we chilled at this club 903 and they had this band from cali there...playin the best of CCR, stones, pearl jam...they were AWESOME. had to get up early this morning to make it to the bus station...get beat up by my luggage...trek about 10 minutes to the bus station couple minutes to spare to buy my ticket...don't know what is wrong with the thing...ask a man...duh i am on the train machine, go to the bus and I need cash...i had to trek across town find an atm because i didn't have enough cash...Why don't i ever get out enough cash to begin with...who knows...I never have ... read more

ok so i still have no luggage and when you call the number you can't speak to anyone but i won't sit here and talk about this... i have 2 belgium guys staing in my room...they seem to b nice but yesterday as i was walking down the stairs this guy spotted my jacket and said hey LSU and i started yelling the fight song...his friend came up the stairs and he graduated from lsu...originally from breaux bridge...soooo it didn't take long for me to make friends...and these guys took me under their wing...they are great. come to find out they are raising money for the lance armstrong foundation and are doing a run here in Dublin...i went bar hopping with them and saw a few sites...when to the Brazen head pub the oldest pub and ... read more

OOOOOOk so I decided to get on this travel blog to update everyone on my little adventure. Please don't be dissappointed if some things sound a little funny or i may not spell something correctly...its a blog, who cares...haha To answer everyones question: WHY ARE YOU GOING TO IRELAND?
