Zoe and Rocio - Zoe Lavinia

I (Zoe) am going to mainly be the one maintaining the blog, maybe rocio will add entries and maybe she won't. I will do it in Spanish and English so my Spanish friends can check up on us as well if they feel like it. This is a blog to keep my family and friends updated as to how me and Rocio are while we travel around Europe. We'll actually start traveling on March 2nd 2008, although I leave for Spain February 12th. The trip will last as long as our money lasts and for as long as we want to be gone (although my passport expires in May of 2009 so that limits it).

Soy yo (Zoe) que voy a estar escribiendo el blog, no se si Rocio va a querer escribir cosas o no. Voy a hacerlo en Espanol y Ingles. Es un blog escrito para que mi familia y amigos sabran como estamos mientras que viajamos yo y Rocio en Europa. Nos vamos a irnos de verdad el dia 2 de Marzo 2008, aunque me voy para espana el dia 12 de Febrero. El viaje va a durar hasta que nos acabe el dinero, o hasta que nos aburrimos. Mi pasaporte Americano acabe el mayo de 2009 asique tendre que regresar antes que eso.

English Weve arrived in Ireland (and im not quite sure how the keyboards here work so excuse my punctuation), the towns are very pretty. Were traveling along the coast down to Cork where we;ll work in an organic farm for 2 months. Weve only been here three days, in Dublin we stayed in a youth hostel, the first cheap one weve found so far (8 dollars per person). Ingles We are in Galicia, the weather has been sunny all week until today (it´s rainy). Galicia is very green and a bit colder than Portugal. I miss the cheap pastries, but otherwise I like Galcia a lot, the typical food here so far is empanadas, chorizo and octopus. We´ve been experimenting with places to stay because the cmapsites are getting more and more expensive. So far weve slept in the woods, in somebody,s garden (we asked first), and in hostals. Montijo

Me and Rocio are in Montijo, which is a town across the bay from Lisbon. We are staying with a nice lady I contacted through the organic farm program to help her work on her home are garden. So far we have been putting cement on and painting the walls of an outdoor bathroom (right now there is no toilet) (weve been using buckets and composting the waste) and cutting up the extra tree limbs in the garden to create more space. A Bucket French Fries/Un Cubo de Patatas Fritas

English At the moment we are taking a day off from biking, and we are staying in a small town called Alvor next to the city Portimao. We have been traveling for about a week, we left from Punta Umbria which is a small beach town in Spain where Rocio's sister lives) and now we are in Portugal. *English* The rout is in three month segments, and goes like this: 1st three months: Well head out of Sevilla on March 2nd going south until we reach the coast.
