After leaving HK, our 4.5 hour flight landed us at Narita airport, we took a 1 hour train to Tokyo after we were greeted by a greeter lol and he promptly escorted us in the right direction of course.　We needed to go to board the train right away. We noticed things were different at once, rice fields everywhere, cars that were parked, all had folded side view mirrors so they had room to park in their driveways. After aclimatizing and adjusting for the time difference, we finally got motivated and decided to meet up with some family and friends. Tuesday we hooked up with our friends Doris and Bernard and went to Sai Kung which is known for seafood. When we arrived we took a Junk to an abandonned Salt Village and walked around. It was spooky. I have a shot of a house that was abandonned in 1992. Everything was left as is and the windows and doors left opened. Other houses were of the same and in more of a disarray. Hi Everyone, We finally arrived in HongKong under cloudy weather and promptly went to sleep. The trip was long and very tiring. We slept a little and freshened up and then went out to visit. I have always said that you cannot get lost in HK but sometimes the roads can be confusing, so because there are billions of taxis around, we hailed one and he took us back to where we needed to be. The Hotel we are staying at is under construction on the 15th floor and we are on the 9th, we hear the jackhammers and they vibrate. [View Full Entry]
