Pakistan Sufi style

 Asia » Pakistan » Lahore
The border crossing into pakistan went super smooth, although there was nobody else around which felt super weird it was a complete no mans land.we hung around at the border for the closing of the border ceremonywhich was pretty cool with pakistan rangers somehow managing to kick there hats off!! there was a massive crowd with pakistani songs being played over loud halers and the crowds were so vibrant and colourfull. once the ceremony had finished we headed to Lahore with a million and one other passengers on a tiny bus,it was boiling and we both had to sit in seperate gender [View Full Entry]

 Asia » India » Punjab » Amritsar
after a few days of hard travelling via delhi and a few hospitals (helly had a bit of a temperature but is now well on the mend) they were an interesting experience with one being completely deserted(28 dats later style) and the first ward we saw at the second was the "disaster ward",but we got sorted. were now in amritsar and we went to see the golden temple last night all lit up, it was amazing ,everyone is very friendly here and welcoming and you can tell it is a very special place, anyway hopefully we'll be on our way to pakistan [View Full Entry]

Asia » India » Rajasthan » Sawai Madhopur
hey everyone after our time in agra we were due to ctch a train to ranthambore national park to see some tigers ,however our train was cancelled so instead we had to do a 200km detour via jaipur which cost us an extra 15p there goes the budget.we finally got to ranthembore and found a nice hotel with a pool ,which also ran safaris.we went on 3 safaris and was very close to a couple tigers according to the monkeys.not that we could see them!! however we did see a sloth bear which is even rarer,so that made up for it. The quest for visas

Europe » United Kingdom » England » Derbyshire » Derby
The quest for visas has been a long and tiresome journey, our nepalese vis succumbed quite easily via post.next was the chinese one! which involved setting off from the lake district @ 6.30 to manchester where we came across rush hour traffic ,and due to having no A-Z mild confusion.after receiving a guiding light from a very pleasant post office clerk we were soon heading in the right direction, and were even walking up the stairs to the visa office, only to find that our wallets were indeed empty.........Doh! so another mission was formed in order to find cash. after drivng round [View Full Entry]
