Hi evryon hope your all ok we've finally got bak onto the internet.the trek around dhaulagiri has been amazing.took some good photos but not sure if will have time to put them on as the pc is sooooooooo slow. the trek was bloody hard work at tms,we reachd an altitude of 5200m and we had weather ranging from 40degrees too propr brass monkey weather, snow .after the trek we fnshed at aplace called jomsom which is in far north nepal, and we were meant too gt a flght out but the weather was crap and remained crap for 3days,our trek guide was trying his best to organise a helicopter out but the airport would not allow it to take off.so being as the others needd to catch their flight home we had to catch a jeep for two hours then walk until it was dark, stay in a shed get up the next day at530 walk for 7hours straight at sherpa pace, get another jeep (small jeep 13 people, very cosy)down the kali gandaki which is the depest gorge in th world, then jump off put our bags onto mules then walk for half an hour to beni where we caught a bus to pokhara where our
bamboo bridge "wobbly"
check out the intrepid explorer!!!!!!!
trek manager had organised 5star accomodation at the pokhara grande which was a stark cntrast to the night before but we wasn't complaining.the next day we caught aplane to kathmandu which was 3 hours late.then ran round some shops before seeing the others off at the airport.hope everyone got back ok and thanks for making it such a wonderfull trip.
