Hello,Hello, Today we slept in,Greg and Nathan played tennis beforw we checked out. All packed for the cruise we drove down the coast to the port. On the way we stopped at the beach,the beach is only about 5 meters from the road side at Ft Lauderdale unreal !!!!! Some really massive luxury homes and the gardens are so pretty and lush. We parked at the dock and were able to leave all excess luggage in the car, it was under cover and had 24 hour security. All aboard !!!! Our cabins were quite roomy, the kids shared and they enjoyed the space.We met up again with Steph and her Dad a lovely girl who was travelling from Tasmania. Hello!! Today was our last day at Orlando, our seven days here have just flown. Today we finished up by going to MGM Studios. Lots of different shows including a great performance of Beauty and the Beast, Stunt shows and a backlot tour of the studios. We went on a thrilling Tower of Terror which an open elevator dropped 13 stories!! It was pretty cool so we went on again. We also had a journey into Narnia. Tonight we had our last swim and spa. Hello Hello, We have had a great day today. We picked up a hire car this morning and let the kids sleep in. It was strange to be on the other side of the road a bit freaky!!!!!!! It was good to see the suburbs the houses are all weather board and look like dolls hou.ses. Lots of lush green forest area and very tall cotton palms . We drove to Daytona Race Park about a one hour drive. Boy it was massive, holds 250,000.00 fans. We took a tour all around and on the track, followed by a 3D IMAX movie, they have the Dayton 500 in February so are starting to get ready now. Hello Hello, We have been without a computer for about 10 days now. So have not the time to blog, sorry guys. Now I have to try and remember what we have been doing!!!!! Since new years the time has really gone fast, we have been so busy its just crazy!!!!!!! http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o172/sarahjane2123/DisneysMagicKingdom033.jpg Florida is really lush and green,very pretty. The roads, gardens and flowers are lovely. Our resort has lots of amenities including three pools,spa,mini golf a bbq and brecky included. Our room has three double beds,a kitchen area and is in a great location. Over the past five days we have been to four theme parks and had one days rest,sipping cocktails and swimming in the pool. Hello,Hello, Well we have been on the road for a few days - Bus that is !!!!! Two days in Washington, Three days in Nashville, and on our second day in Memphis. Then on the train tomorrow to New Orleans. These towns are so quiet compared to the previous. Nashiville was great - a main street just like Gawler but every pub (and there were lots of them) had a live Country band or Singer. Up until 6pm the kids were able to come in so we made a few stops,lots of fun. We went to the Country Hall of Fame, a fairly new building. There were three floors of interactive memories about Country singers past and present, with information,facts,videio clips displays of clothes,cars etc. It was really great. Hello, Hello, Thanks for the Christmas news, sounds like you all had a happy time and lots of fun. Congratulations to Clinton on making the U17 side - Well Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well we arrived in washington yesterday morning via bus,we drove through New Jersey,Baltimore and Maryland,very comfortable and good weather so sites were great. Very green and lush lawns, huge trees and forest areas,would be awesome in spring. The houses here are much bigger here all two story with lovely gardens no apartments and no fencing between houses. We are staying in the Capitol - WOW the buildings are "AWESOME" we went on a after dark tour, all of the monuments were lit up and oh so pretty. So much history here and so much attention to detail. Hello and Happy New Year !!!!!!!!!! Well since I blogged last we have been in Niagra and are now in New York. Niagra was fantastic - very large population of about 76,000. Much bigger than we thought. We stayed only minutes from the falls - they were great to see, at night they are lit up as was the town. We went on a tour in an under ground tunnel the power of the water was unreal. There was a street walking distance away that was called Clifton Hill - lots of fun things to do. We are now in New York - New Years we went on a tour at 9am of Manhattan - Statue of Liberty,United Nations and Ground Zero. Very informative and interesting. Well tonight is our last night here. (boo hoo ) We all skied and snow boarded today - getting much better at it. ( NOT ME )Today was glorious weather, blue skies and sunshine. We finished up at about 4.30 and had a hot spa and a nice meal. Nathan and Sarah are exausted they have had a blast here. We are off to Niagra tommorow, hopefully there is the chance to send some photos to the blog. We have had a chance to catch up on sleep here and also do all of our washing and have a home cooked meal. We enjoyed Christmas even though it was strange without all of our family and friends.
