Hello to you, This blog is from Adelaide to the start of the Ocean Road...which will be the next blog....so enjoy these snaps of a lovely city. Unfortunately i don't have any of the actual city, just nights out and a wine tour we did! Great wine tour to the Barossa Valley, really good fun getting more and more drunk and meeting random people in winerys! We did a tour and had a great time, even saw a huge rocking horse which was a bit surreal, i didnt have a go. Anyway, South Australia is relaxed, very calm and chilled out, i liked it there...met some guys from there when living in Perth so i have an excuse to go there again! We also went to the Grampians national park for some walking and fantastic scenery, ... read more

Hello to you, Two blogs in two days, what's goin on! Think i've pulled my finger out..! These photos are from october last year when we had just left Alice SPrings and stayed for a few nights in a tiny little place called Coober Pedy...it is as weird as it sounds. Its the Opal capital of Australia, loads of the area surrounding this place have been mined for Opal and other stuff. 80% of the town's population live underground in homes that were carved out of the ground by huge drilling machines, some live into homes carved into the cliff faces and hills. All a bit surreal really. Bit like a ghost town when in the evening everyone is underground like moles! Our hostel was great, 6m under the ground which was a novel experience...room was ... read more

Great place, relaxed, happy and chilled. We also went to Swaziland for six days and stayed in the best pace we have come across, the views were awesome. Done the Kruger park which was a bit disapointing, saw a leopard cub which was lucky but no lion, i really want to see a lion! ... read more

Hello all... Been a while i know! I have finally done Darwin for you to look at! Taking me ages as over here in South Africa they have the net in most places but its slow, so slow unless you are at a big city. In Port Elizabeth at the moment, leaving today for J-Bay for some heavy drinking sessions i think...heard its a bit of a party place! Oh well....have to oblige. Anyway, these snaps are from october last year and taken over our few days we had in Darwin...actualy i think we were there a week! Loved the place, too hot mind you and there was no breeze! Our hostel was ok, bit too loud and full of large male groups...bit like a club 18-30's hotel but in Australia and not in Spain or ... read more

Carry on up the coast…. That sounds like a movie doesn’t it?! Well, what we saw on Fraser and while cruising the Whitsunday Islands could have come straight out of a movie, it didn’t take much imagining. After we left Rainbow Beach we headed up to Hervey Bay and got ready for our Fraser trip. Now, most people opt for the four wheel drive self drive option when doing Fraser Island but me and Fran decided on a tour (Sylvia out travel agent sold it to us!) which in the end was fantastic. We loved it, had some great people in our group and shared some fantastic scenery and moments together. Fraser is the worlds largest island made entirely of sand which is quite random…I mean how on earth does an island made of sand come ... read more
