We were celebrating Carolina's B-day and all she wanted was, an RV and head down to the keys so we embarked in our journey! What a great place we found, the name... Fiesta Key. We got there at night and found our instructions next to the guard house, after set up we looked at what seemed to be the horizon (it was dark) and witnessed a beautiful show of lights! there was a big storm going on. Lobstering was great but unfortunately not all people respect the laws (so me people were taking small lobsters - below legal size) In all we had an amazing time with our great friends Christiane and Tom and can't wait to get back!... read more

Manneken Pis; "Little man Pee" in Dutch; French: le Petit Julien) is a landmark small bronze sculpture in Brussels, depicting a naked little boy urinating into a fountain's basin. Hendaye, what a beautiful town that seemed to have no hurry for anything! The hotel was closed when we arrived and fortunately there was a sign with our name on the door and a code 2458#, after that we found a letter with our key on it, we went to our room and voila! a sea view with a balcony! It was very windy for some reason and everyone started running for cover.... read more

Bordeaux was amazing and the kids had a great time in the water mirror, what an amazing spectacle. This is certainly worth another visit. Interesting note... Leon was a bit dry (weather) with an amazing Cathedral, 50 years in the making and a very nice architectural sample of the early Gothic style. The old part of town was very clean and a reminder of what Spain is truly like, every order of "canas" comes with a tapa, essentially you eat for free if you drink!... read more

This is where we start to turn around and go back to Brussels, Porto proved to be a very nice experience and well worth a visit. These guys know how to cook and drink too. Interesting note: Everyone was extremely nice. Porto, although run down, offered amazing vistas and nooks with character where you could get good food and why not, some port! Cheers...... read more
