On my 62 birthday we went out to an industrial area of town and met Tony Bianco, who turned out to be a Ulysses Club member. He said he could fix our panniers if we came out to his house that evening. So we did, and he did, in an amazingly well equipped home workshop. Then his wife came home and fed us a wonderful dinner and told us about her life at the New England University in Armidale and as a belly dance instructor. Tony told us of his years in Sydney as a metalworker, boiler maker, motorcycle builder and collector of models and magazines. When we left, thoroughly spellbound, he refused any offer of money for all his help.
