We’re off! How amazing that this day has actually come. It’s hard to believe we got everything onto the bikes and then us both out on the road heading south. I think the bikes will be brilliant. Though much heavier than what we’re use to, they seem to handle us and the load without any effort. The rubber duffels look like they will work well too, but I’m a bit worried about the panniers. They are only plastic and seem easily damaged. (we’ve already bumped into each other and scratched them.)
