Croatia the Charmful Really I did not believe that Croatia is so much beautiful as these photos do show.
I know that Europe in general is beautiful but this presents fantastic nature. I would like to know more about this country for tourism and people.
hi... Gr8 pics !!
I am equally obsessed about my D80 !!....
I must say you were lucky to get some great sky on the backdrop !! Did you add a blue tinge to the sky in some pics??
curious to understand your technique...if you could share.

Sirop d'érable! I have to laugh at your Cabane à Sucre experience...I think I know which cabane he sent you to. Not the one I would've recommended because, yeah, well, cafeteria food. And I have to clarify that it is Quebecois, not Canadian, because I have yet to meet a westerner (from Alberta, BC, etc) who puts syrup on their eggs or in their pea soup. :) Glad you had fun in Québec!
Hook Turn!! Love your comment about the "WILD" right turns in downtown Melbourne! My mum's family is mainly from the Melbourne area, so I've done my fair share of driving and performed a number of "hook turns", as they're referred to, in Melbourne.
Well Done, Indeed! Again, apologies for my belated comments....Alas, well done on the jump. Although I jumped in town, we did have the opportunity to visit the Kuwara site.....watched a few jumpers there and then took one of those INSANE jet boat rides. They literally drive you within feet (possibly inches - I think I got a haircut from one particular boulder) of the cliffs. As with the bungy jump, glad I did it, but never again!
Luging in Q'town!!! Ok, so I didn't take the time to read much of your travel blog during your trip. That being said, I'm making up for it tonight. Love the pic of luging!! That was a blast for me back in '02. Don't know if it's still there, but I bungy jumped from the observation deck/restaurant area at the top.
I have just recently been to Jordan and I have relived my trip through reading your exploits. Hope to travel further afield and seek new sights!. Love your writing.
Sigh... Hi Team Turner! I've just spent the past month reading your round-the-world-trip blog from start to finish, and I have to say that I'm so sad that it's over! You guys are great photographers as well as writers...I feel like I know you both (in a non-creepy, non-stalkerish way, that is!).
I have a crazy passion for travel as well...and I'm getting ready to leave on a 10 day trip to Germany in a couple of weeks. However, 10 days seems like a flash in the pan compared to what you have done. I have to admit I'm just a bit envious!!
Please keep documenting your trips so that I can live vicariously through you guys!
Happy Travels!

Thanks! Thanks for your message about my Paul McCartney blog. I read your piece about Budapest yesterday (I'm going there in a couple of weeks) and didn't quite have time to send you a message. I really enjoyed your photos, and the blog has given me plenty of ideas for what to do.

someone should pay you I know that probably other people have said this before, but some travel company should really hire you two to travel the world on their dime and report back to the rest of us on it. You two have such refreshing insight and delightful commentary on the globe-trotting experience. I wish I had found your blog while you guys were still travelling. Any plans for a great North American road trip?
For all of you who don't know us, we are a relatively normal married couple from Richmond, VA. We have been married for 5 years and have been friends since we met at Capital One on our first day of work. We have decided to make a "nontraditional move" with our lives. On November 7th, 2006 Kel and I left everything behind and started traveling beginning with Lisbon, Portugal. The plan was to start in Europe, hit Asia, Australia and New Zealand and then return to Europe to finish our year. Before it was all said and done we added destinations in the Middle East and Africa. The trip was am... full info
