sara my lil fug you need to read the blogs, especially because that one was one of my best work. I don,t know if you heard but apparently Jona invited himself to live with us for two weeks in September. Miss you and I hope you are ready to have a roomie again. Back to work soon!
Proud of You I guess I will be the anti-maka and say that I am really proud of you for going on this trip and stepping out of your comfort zone and learning all of these new things and understanding a new culture. This was a great learning experience for you and it is so great to see my (word deleted) little sister growing up and becoming a world traveler. And I can't believe that you even stuck your face in the water to see what was under there thats a big step for you... and look non of your fellow travelers were eaten by fish so next time maybe a few extra seconds won't kill you. Love you and get home safe. I know you are excited to live with me for 2 weeks when you get back!
Man eating fish = To floating planes I guess we just need to accept the fact that we are a bit "loco in the head" and move on. Glad to see you are looking good and making friends with coconuts... again "loco". Can't wait to see you at home this trip is indeed too long for me. Love you, Maka
LOL HAHA im sorry i just had to add this ... 1 - you are an excellent writer! 2 - I feel like i am reading an educational novel when i read your posts! I think they are really great! I'm being completely honest when i say this that i think you should turn it into a novel or write some sort of novel! You are very talented and as much as i laugh reading it because i can picture you talking like this and it cracks me up i really enjoy it! Keep em comin' sister! xoxox
You've really lost your coconut! I am glad you are giving the beach a chance but I hope you are not eating any alligators for breakfast. Miss you see you soon. Oh by the way Paul Mitchell discontinued the mousse while you were gone. Not enough demand for their product.
Hey Monga Yes I got a good job at George Mason and a nice apartment so my last day in Boston is September 12 and then i am moving that weekend. Keep having fun and I will see you when you get back. Love ya- Jona
sounds inviting! reading the beginning of this made me wonder why i was coming there! seems like you found a nice enought place for some fun in the sun, even if there isn't much sun. it has rained here in vietnam every afternoon for an hour or so. i think when we head back to bangkok i may head back to bali where it is the dry season and sunny every day.
can't wait! where is that bonano!?!? shouldn't she be there too?
Lunnie Linnie Just a question, why is Scottie always wonderful and Linnie always the Lunnie? I think I give great advise. I never get any credit though.
Yo Howwww! Nope, no new nephew yet! Hopefully soon before i pull the thing out lol shes getting to be pretty annoying! Got the other new addition and they are doing great! haha! When do you come home again ... write that in ur blog ... we are trying to plan some stuff to get us all together and i wanna see if you will be back to take part! Your going to have like a bazillion emails from all of us lol! Keep Safe!
P.S. you should have bought the bananas and threw them at those mean men! Poor lil elephants! :) xoxox love and miss you!
Elephants in the city Actually, the Asian elephant loves the city. Food is readilt availanle and it beats the hell out of working in the jungle. All that heat and humidity and pulling logs, come on!
phew. I am glad to see that, although you found that you don't like to weave, you are still enjoying the trip. Can't wait to see pix of the beaches! They have different sea creatures there, make sure you know what lurks so you don't get (hee hee hee) caught off guard!
Give the loom a chance. You are too quick to cast weaving off. It sounds like a very calming activity. Give me a loom on my porch overlooking my yard so I can watch my birds. Back and forth with the pretty thread, no phones ringing .....sounds wonderful. I'm glad you are at least trying some of these relaxing things there is a lot less to worry about when you are weaving and painting than when you are riding ATVs.
I am impressed! Wow - beautiful - now look at that you've learned yet another thing you can teach your kids (and me) this year!!! Love the batik and the temple is beautiful.
Dude! I am so proud of you. You look like you are having an awesome time. I love that you are just chilling over there, doing your own thing, totally having a life-changing experience. I cannot wait til you get back cuz I want to hear all about what prompted this trip. I love following along and it is making me totally jealous to go on a fun excursion of my own. I miss you tons and look forward to reading more.

Wow !You did that ! That is a very nice print you made. It's a good thing you included the picture of you working on it for proof. The temple looks very exotic too. Did you have to buy the wraps you wore on your legs? Have a safe trip to your next destination. Love Maka
Oh my goodness!!! I never thought I would see the day that Christina would come that close to that big of an animal!!!!! Minnows...what??? Haha it looks like you are having so much fun!!!!
Can't wait to show the blog to Sean! Hey, awesome job blogging and sounds like you're having an awesome time. I can't wait to show this to Sean. We are off on our bike trip on Monday and we'll be thinking of you ATV-ing around Thailand while we bike around the North Shore! (P.S. I might tell him you were looking for "B monster" instead of "Sex on the Beach"!!)
