HI,I SPEND 3 MONTHS IN PALOLEM,ITS THE BEST! WE STAYED NEXT TO LAUGHING BUDDHA.FERNANDES,ITS A VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY,THE BOYS HOS WORKING THERE(SAM,SECH,SANDJE,RAMON)ARE SO HELPFUL AND PLEASENT.NOVEMBER WERE COMMING BACK!!

hi friends, i am so happy to add my comment here, because i have been there in budda laughing resort for more that one month, and i really enjoyed my holydays. hope to be back very very soon. Mr. Aneel and his family were so kind and it is nice to pass some days there with them.

Bringing back memories
Hi you two intreped trekkers! Honoured to receive a mention in the travel blog! The trek in Nepal looks amazing I wanna do it all over again. I was feeling the pain and fatigue reading your account but how fulfilling and inspiring, its all worth it! Me and Steve are well. Steve's working for the police as a PA and I'm at my local council looking after trees. We'll hopefully be moving to London in October, can't wait. Happy travels mucho envious, Gem x

Great to hear from you...
I recently had a good cousin of mine come back from India, she was out there for 4 weeks with friends. Apparently eveywhere they went all the locals kept touching them and stroking their hair as if they'd never seen other people before.And yes people can't drinve in India. They have no highway code of safety. So be careful. Keep in touch it's great to see all the photo's, and look after yourselves. The scenery is breath taking. xx Desiree.

Well I've been reading all your travel blogs and finally decided to add a comment! Sounds like your having loads of fun (apart from the bike accident) hope you're both ok now. Things are pretty normal back here apart from last thurs, don't know if you guys heard about the bombs in central London? It was a terrorist attack but people seem to be pulling together. Anyway keep trekking and keep us posted. Take care :)

From the mall in Manali town keep to the left of the Y junction. on your left will be some shops and as you progress further there will be a wooded earea on the right. further along this road you will cross over a small bridge (so small you might miss it) stop here. to your left is a blue painted restaurant. People in this vicinity are very helpful and you will be ok here
