What a trip! Starkeys
Looks like you have had a wonderful vacation! We have thoroughly enjoyed your blogs! Thanks for allowing us to travel with you! Can't wait to swap stories when you get home!

I Think We Passed Each Other! Hey Amy -
I'm pretty sure we crossed paths in the Tetons! While you guys were hiking the mountains, we were rafting on The Snake River! I agree. The tetons were my favorite stop on our trip! Keep bloging! I enjoy keeping up with your family's adventure. If you have time, check ours out (Vieja34) as my sister's nickname...
Buffalo vs Bison Hey! What do you mean you can't tell a bison from a buffalo??? Don't you work for AIC??? "Biff" would be ashamed of you!
Speaking of the "dead-zone"... That's one of the reasons I couldn't find you. I was hoping to enjoy one of your famous "s'mores"! The other reason (I find out now) is you guys "left the ranch" during the water shut down! We were stubborn enough to stick it out! Maybe not smart enough to leave, but stubborn all the same. LOVE your blog. Its like being there! Actually I was! LOL!!!
Thanks for the trip! We sure enjoyed the vacation, and share the feelings of "homeward bound". It is great to get away and enjoy
special times as a family, but what a great feeling also
to be "going home". Thanks for the ride.
Enjoyed It I got in on the blog a little late but I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it and looking at your pictures. I am pretty much a "beach vacation" person but after reading your blog and following along, I am now excited to take a trip like this myself. (Minus the transmission problems).
Have a safe trip home. We miss seeing you guys.
WE ARE NOT ALONE All- Glad to see you are enjoying a place I visted back in the late 70's. I made some interesting friends abck then. Did you have a close encounter of your own?
Close Encounter of the First Kind - Sighting of a UFO. Close Encounter of the Second Kind - Physical Evidence. Close Encounter of the Third Kind - Contact.
Phenomenal I am vicariously on this trip with all of you. Amy, this web site you have is terrific. I guess it is a Blog???? I am not quite up on technical terminology.
How are all of you going to settle down to just a calm quiet Cinncinatti after seeing so much of this beautiful USA?
Have Fun, keep sending.
Ford tough Thanks for the advice Toby, I sure did need you and your pick up yesterday going through the Big Horn Mountains. More on that in our next blog. If I drop your name will I get a discount?
Ford Truck Man Shawn - Cowboy up and and pull the trigger so you can sing with me buddy.
I’m a Ford Truck man, that’s all I drive
I ain’t got no boundaries, I don’t compromise
I rather walk ten miles, then be down on my luck
Then ride around the block in any other pick up truck.
You can see me in the highway in the left-hand lane
Lost out on a back road in the pourin’ rain
And I’ll pass that center line when the ride gets rough
Ain’t not doubt my king of the moutain’s built Ford tough.
Intense Moments Another intense moment!! No water - no sewer - although this one was a little less expensive. Glad to hear that all is going well. I think everyone on this blog site is enjoying your travels along with you. Look forward to your continued messages.
What a trip!! Hey Starkeys! The Dunns are so "Out West Homesick" when we look at all of the places that you've visited! It's so surreal to see you all standing in the same places we stood in last month! It does make us happy seeing how much fun you're having, though. Enjoy the rest of your adventure!!!
Yellowstone It sounds like each and every one of you is having a GREAT time. Love reading about the trip from the girl's perspective. When you get back Amy you'll have to show us the 'mountain crab walk' since Shawn didn't get a photo of it. Keep safe and we'll see you soon!
Enjoying the trip..... again Hey you four wanderers..... we do not know who is enjoying the trip more! We certainly are re-living each step of the way as you are doing a wonderful job keeping us posted. Even the dumb rock tree was visited by us, and I don't know why either.
Yellowstone Wonderful blog, Emma. Your descriptions were great! I would love to see an elk close up like that. All that hiking--all of you must be dropping pounds like crazy. Can't wait to hear more of Yellowstone's magic.
Hey Coach Tim,
I would try that, but the rangers frown upon us leaving the car at any time because of the bears and bison. : ) My dad says we should, because if we see a bear we have to run faster. :(
Emma
speed and agility glad to see the girls getting their speed and agility training in! They should have no problem playing the entire game. Next short trip have them job beside the car....
Ghosts Hey Rach!
I love ya to death, but I am so not going back to college so you can sleep in my bed w/ Jess when you guys get scared from the ghosts! Pick something closere to home- with no ghosts!! Glad you all are having a good time! Keep up the pics- they are great!
End of Glacier Great blog, Rachel. I agree with you - stay away from the haunted university. Love all the pictures and stories and am so glad you're having a great time. We are anxious to see and hear all about Yellowstone
Yellowstone Inn Grandma and I stayed at the Yellowstone Inn a couple of years ago. You will be amazed how the Inn was built and how very large the fire place is, you can walk inside. Yellowstone will be another of your favorite places you will wish to see again. Nice story Rachel.
Oh dear Lord Each entry I read, I laugh harder and harder. Sounds like you guys are having a great time! Thanks for sharing the pictures...Glacier is now on our list of things to do. Are you sure you're telling the truth about Emma??? She seems so quiet!! Amy - I'd have been holding Sydney's hand down that mountain and freaking out myself....so I think you did good. Have fun!
What an experience WOW are you doing things right!!! Way to get into the park and see the inner beauty and magesty of it all. Memories for a lifetime are in the making.
