Yipee! Photos finally! Feast yer peepers! Well well. Its been a very, very long time since Ive posted. But here they are, here I am, and wow, am I having a really great time. Man, this is frusturating. I finally get to a place with some decent computers to do some internetting.. and the computer wont let me use my camera! Blast! Hello. After uploading nearly 30 photos, my energy is nearly depleted. Have no fear, my love for my newfound family and riding crew is not. Im generally having a really amazing time. Its great seeing both the good, bad, and ugly sides of everyone. We all love eachother very much. Never have I been so close with so many people at the same time. So here I am. Im sitting in a small Motel, in Harrison Hotsprings, BC. My Otesha group and I are camped about 8km from here, in Sasquatch Provincial Park. We've been having a great ride so far. Travelling on bike has yet again proven to be awe-inspiring, even moreso with a group of people like my Otesha family. We are a group of diverse, strong-willed, hearty travellers, all with different strengths and weaknesses. We support one another, stand behind one another, care about one another. So, I made it, so far. Quarda Island ain't seen nothin like me (they likely have). A cyclist full of crraaap. My bike, she's a heavy beast. She rolls, and is excellent at picking up speed going down hill, but does not really climb so well. Tuesday, June 24th, day one: 102km, after 4.5 hours of travel time. I camped just south of Nanaimo, in between two fields of very tall grass. Was exhausted, went to bed at 8pm, woke up at 5am. What a nice sleep. Wednesday: 135km after 6.5 hours of travel time.
