I'm about to embark on my first 'travelling' experience alone as a single shoestring traveller. I'm 26 years old and am looking forward to finally having my 'gap year' after finishing university and working over the past four years.

I thought I'd like to try a capture some of the emotions and experiences before departing for Singapore in February 2012 as there seems a moutain of things to do before jetting off. Bascially, I'm happy to get a bit of free advice before leaving after having already succummed to an obvious pitfall when applying for a visa. As they say "the man who makes no mistakes never makes anything of himself"...or something like that.

Once I'm away in foreign lands then I'll attempt to send some insighful comments and beautiful photos...here goes!
