Last day in the UK before heading off to Singapore. Just checked the weather and it's 31 degrees, but also with heavy rain and thunderstorms...hopefully it will pass!!

I'm about to embark on my first 'travelling' experience alone as a single shoestring traveller. I'm 26 years old and am looking forward to finally having my 'gap year' after finishing university and working over the past four years. I thought I'd like to try a capture some of the emotions and experiences before departing for Singapore in February 2012 as there seems a moutain of things to do before jetting off.
