Yes! Hey Shannon,
You travel just like My Sweetie used to at your age; take your time and move as the mood strikes.
Now that we're old duffers we're planning a trip to Argentina and Chile and you've given us some excellent information with your spirited account of the goings on.
This is stupid, but somehow I just have this idea that I am going to fall in love with Buenos Aires too.
Nice going,
Ray
Arequipa &altitude I just came back from Chivay and Colca Canyon, it was a very nice experience but...I got really sick and thought this was going to be the last trip in my life. I think everybody should visit these places, but people have to be physically prepared or rest for a day until they bodies get used to the climate. :) Happy to be alive, and now i'm on my way to Cusco

Hey Shannon! It sounds like you're having a great time on your travels, I'm definitely jealous a bit of the sites you've been seeing.
If you get a chance, hit me up with a postcard, it'd make me feel real special!

Remember to stay safe, have fun, and stop pooing so much!
Blame it on the altitude Every recipe has to be adjusted when you are baking at such a high altitude. It usually is more than one ingredient as well so it is alot of trial and error.
And also, remember Xmas next year so we too can have a fun Christmas. It really does not matter what religion you are....we are all celebrating the same thing!
Love you,
Auntie Christina
i got food poisoning in madrid, so i know how that can be scary... salmonella though! you're a champion! rock on wit ya bad self! i just read up on the pinkfishfitzgerald (get it? salmon...ella?) bacteria, and it seems like you're a survivor and won't have more trouble with it. if you feel better, i bet you're fine. just get plenty of sleep, stay hydrated, and stop drinking and eating nasty stuff that makes you sick!
Your awesome I love traveling to places that are out of my comfort zone. Good for you Shannon-love the stories, stay safe and the second you let your gaurd down with the food, I promise you-stomache infection-listen to your instincts. Love you!
Really? You neva told me all this now that I found this blogg I know whats really going on!!! Don't worry I won't show mom...but just keep telling the truth...now I will really have to dye my hair blonde...love u...Dad
keep sticking at it! Hi - was just flicking through some travel blogs whilst at work and came across yours. Get to know Bolivia and you will love it - we spent 3 months there last year travelling around and loved every moment. The politics are rubbish but otherwise people will help and look after you.
Anyway just thought I would write to encourage you. All the Best.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. -Mark Twain-
