Alan, as my fingers have now succumed to frostbite i now have to type with my toes but i don't hold out much hope for them either as it is blooming freezing over here. It was never this cold 'when we were in SA'. "Appy Christmas to you both"

Downside
Also, the other problem you'll have now (apart from being freezing cold) will be that every sentence you say will start with the words "When we were in ...(insert country)"

Back home with a bump????
Well guys.... seems like you've had a fab time in SA, I'm so very jealous, already thinking about my next trip.... though gotta work hard to get there again!!! Hope the journey home was OK, and you didn't land home with too much of a bump! Looking forward to seeing you again!

This place clearly beats Woburn Safari park hands down! How exciting! Mind you I would not want to meet those baboons after they had consumed all that sugar, ahhhhh! Hate to say it guys..... are you still planning on heading back before Chistmas?

oh my freakin gawd your underwater piccys look well cool!! well ive been back home now for nearly 2weeks and hate every min of it!!back into the same old routine and everything! grrr! i mustnt grumble too much like it is lovely to see the rents and my mates but cant wait til i have enough pennies in the bank to get the fook out of here again!! well dudes keep happy and keep safe, have fun and see you around...polly x

just stumbled across your blogg, and it has stopped me in my tracks. Its fantastic thanks for sharing your wonderful journey. Im in Melbourne at the moment arrived in Adelaide 4th oct, drove down the coast into Victoria and am thinking of heading upto Cairns next week as Im too cold and want some sun over Christmas!!! haha Hope Fiji was good and look forward to reading about it..

As i sit chuckling at the tales of your travels I can't help but find myself wondering - cheap local food, an abundance of over sized cockroaches Any chance the locals use freshly caught pests to fatten up the travellers? Maybe - you will never know? P.S just been reding your new zealand enrty somehow i missed it looks fab.x

Monkey's and Budgie smugglers....
Oh my god, i only just realised this blog was entry was here-sorry!!! The little monkey is sooooooo cute, did u smuggle him back home for me??? And as for the budgie smugglers, i thought i'd seen some bad ones, but i think you guys may need an award for that pic!!!!

Well it sounds like Borneo is amazing, wish i was there!!! Did u see any orangatans (how the hell do u spell that?!) I am using an apple notebook in the apple store in trump towers at the moment (you know the big toy store off the film Big!!!!) Just 2days left for me.... Gotta savour every minute! Hope you guys enjoy your last month, make sure you have loads of fun for me! Gems x

Hi Scott / Kat thought I might as well say Hi. Reading your post makes me want to go back there although not with a small van and a broken heater. Really glad you made it to Milford Sound. Did I tell you that I left the lights on in the van there and we had to get jump started. Otherwise we too would have faced the prospect of getting stuck. The seal colonys are just fantastic. We found a few actually in the middle of the carpark pretending to be parking attendants. That pic of the bridge over arthurs pass ... I dont remember that bit .. probably because it was dark when we did it and starting to snow and we were stuck behind a very very slow truck. Hope you get to Malaysia ok you have not mentioned whre you are landing but if you can stop off in Malaca if you can really nice place. We stayed at the travellers inn not the best but fine for kipping down in. Also see if you can find the comedian taxi driver hes usually touting at the bus station in Malaca (very very funny and worth the 15 ringit round trip fare)

The water pipes
Hi Gem, It is true that sharks tend to be territorial around submerged pipes.....i merely mentioned this as we happened to be snorkelling in deep water over a few. Bad timing on my part maybe!! ;) Loving NZ but leave end Sept. Boo! Hope you had a wicked Hawaii time. It disturbes me to think how tanned you must be now! Kat
