EVERBODY!!! Hello, it's Sara speaking :) We have just spent two wonderfully relaxing nights in our very own hotel room and it was amazinggg. We took long, hot showers, ate food, and watched hours of TV--lovvve it. Today is our last *gasp* day in Europe before we go hommmmme and I'm so excited. We are going to spend the day in the Red Light District which we missed on our first time in Amsterdam so we're pretty excited for that. Greetings from Northern Europe! We are back in Amsterdam and I (Sara) am SO pumped to get ready to go home. We had the most ridiculous time leaving the Cinque Terre. Our flight to Brussels from Milan was delayed for ages and we all crowded into the RyanAir plane for about 2 hours. Upon landing in Brussels, it hit us that we were no longer by the Mediterranean and the 54 degree weather had us with all our clothing on in an attempt to keep warm. Ohhhh my goshhhh, I never want to walk again. I thought that after putting the miles on my feet in every other city to prep, I (Sara) thought I could handle Rome. Nope. After putting in 8 hours of straight site-seeing, Rome has officially kicked my butt. Greetings from Rome! Sara here. Just wanted to leave a quick blog to let you all know that we made it here to Rome and are LOVING our hostel, which is actually more like a resort and comes complete with a supermarket, bar, restaurant, free internet, and swimming pool...and a 4 bed private room for €10 a night! I love Italy. Anyway, funny story about getting here. SO I (Leah) went to Plitvice National Park way back in Croatia (Google some pictures pronto) and COMPLETELY forgot to blog about it... I think... I don't recall, everything is a blur here. Long story short, it was PROBABLY one of the most unbelievably wonderous places I have seen in my entire life. Hello hello! Sorry for such a long lapse between blogs, We are comfortably settled in our room in the HEART of Tuscany. We are surrounded on all sides by rolling hills, trees, and Tuscan houses. No words or pictures can even come close to describing a fascimile of the beautiful region we are in. Split, in southern Croatia, is by far the most beautiful place I (Leah) have seen yet. It feels a little bit like a ritzy American resort city, but we only paid $20 for our OWN apartment last night. The extent of our activities is lying on the beach and swimming in the purely aquamarine waters of the Adriatic. To put it simply: This is the *%#&*&! life. We are in a really fun hostel in Zagreb, arriving here after taking a 5:57 AM train, which really was horrid, except we had our own compartment.
