Greeting's gang,hope your all well and very fat after the festive season. At last I've got round to telling you all about my trip to Bangkok which included a free ride their,a really good football match and a nightmare getting home.It was a typical Friday morning and getting up alway's felt more difficult then usual.Usual meaning I alway's had a hangover and didn't get up until way after 1pm.That morning I didn't have a hangover but I was really eager to get a move on,I was going to Bangkok to watch Thailand vs Real Madrid. My first teaching experience was a case of sink or swim!I had to fill in for one of guy's who was sick,he was teaching a class of 55 student's (around 12-14 year old's)."Oh" so I'll be teaching one class,I said?'No' I was teaching two classes.......A pin dropped and I nearly went green.I got there thinking I was going to get torn from limb to limb and stuck on the white board. Hi again, Just thought i'd write another entry to tell people about my TEFL time on Koh Samui.The course it's self is well thought out with lot's of time to do planning of lessons and complete the task's set by the tutor "Phil Jenkin's".The best part of the course for me was the teaching practice.The grammar and phonetic's were a struggle for me but with the help of my fellow student's and tutor I got through it without a scratch.The only moan I have are the course book's,there are 6 of them and most are very hard to understand.In all [View Full Entry]
